I am selling my custom 2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 with 14,xxx miles. 412 horsepower manual trans. MUST SELL!! According to NADA the car is worth $27,800! I am selling the car for way less due to one small flaw in the car. Someone bumped into the car in a parking lot...pictured above. I dont have the time or money to fix the car so I am going to sell it as is. The car is a base model I had made for me. No real bells and whitles...bought for the power and pure beauty of the car. I am selling it because I am going back to school and need the money for that. The car has a trasnferrable 75,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty I purchased with the car. This alone adds hundreds of dollar that NADA does not factor into the price. I have done a few things to make the Mustang stand out. I put 18'' rims and blacked all the windows out the day after I got the car. Stock rims come with the car. I have blacked out all the lights around the outside of the car (fog lights, tail lights, side markers). These upgrades grab attention from people and make the car one of a kind. I always get compliments from strangers about how awesome the car looks. I really hate to sell the car, but I really dont have a choice at this time. I have had absolutely no issues with the car inside or out. This car is extremely fast and a blast to drive. The wide tires make the car stick to the ground around corners. I am selling the car for exactly what I owe...I am not trying to make a penny off of it. Just need to get out of the monthly payment. Please feel free to contact me anytime at natejacobs04@gmail.com or text/call at 517-902-2464. I promise you will love this car!

Ford reveals concept trucks that ultimately became Atlas
Wed, 03 Apr 2013The Ford Atlas Concept was one of the quiet success stories of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and now Ford has given us a quick glimpse as to how that creation came to be. Designers actually combined two early sketches to build the Atlas. One, called the Bullet Train, is a futuristic, aerodynamic creation, while the other, aptly named the Locomotive, features the squared off proportions we're familiar with.
Once designers settled on the truck's proportions, they began nailing down exactly which attributes they wanted the final design to have. The Concept's notched windshield originated as a forked glass roof that seamlessly transitioned into the windscreen.
Likewise, designers wanted to fit the truck's tailgate with a storage compartment for tools and a first aid kit, but settled on the dual-purpose step/cargo cradle. Interestingly enough, the concept's active aero shutter wheels actually originated in some of the earliest sketches. Check out the photos and slides here for a closer look.
Ford family keeps special voting rights
Fri, 10 May 2013Ford Motor Company has a dual-class stock structure of Class A and Class B shares. The roughly three billion Class A shares are for the general public like you and me, while the roughly 71 million Class B shares are all owned by the Ford family. Each Class A share gets the shareholder one vote, each Class B share is worth 16 votes, the result being that Common Stock holders control about 60 percent of the company while the Ford family controls 40 percent even though it holds far fewer shares. The only way that could ever change would be if the Fords sell their Class B shares, but even so, Class B shares revert to Class A when sold outside the family, so they'd have to sell a whole bunch of them.
A contingent of Class A shareholders think the dual-class system is unfair, and for the past few years a vote's been held during the annual shareholders meeting to end it. It has failed every time, as it just did again during the meeting held this week. A smidge over 33 percent voted to end the dual system, outvoted by the 67 percent who are happy with the way Ford is going - unsurprising in view of a corporate turnaround that will be part of business-class curricula for years to come.
On the sidelines, Ford elected Ellen R. Marram to the post of independent director, the first woman to hold the job. The former Tropicana CEO and 20-year Ford board member replaces retiring board member Irvine Hockaday who helped bring Alan Mulally to the CEO position.
Leno talks racing with NASCAR racer Joey Logano
Wed, 02 Jul 2014Jay Leno has to be under significant pressure knowing the appetite his fans have for a new Jay Leno's Garage video every week. This time, Jay takes a break from his usual format (something he's been doing with some frequency as of late) and goes back to his roots as a talk show host. There's no classic in the garage his episode with an interesting story to tell and a sumptuous exhaust note. Instead, the focus is purely on interviewing 23-year-old NASCAR racer Joey Logano about what it's like to be a racecar driver in his Ford Fusion.
Logano started racing at the tender age of six and has risen up the circle-track ranks to the big show of the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The two of them talk about what it's like to compete in the sport today compared to yesteryear, and Logano shares some racing anecdotes. Of course, they also get into what it's like to be on the racetrack controlling a car with about 850 horsepower, a four-speed manual transmission and brakes without any power boost. Scroll down to watch the video.
