For Sale my 2009 Ford Mustang Gt Premium I bought this Mustang GT new on 1 April 2009 from Crystal Ford Columbia Md. Always garaged through winters, the under carraige is as clean as topside. Options from Ford on this Mustang GT Premium are 3.55 final drive rear and 18" premium wheels, tires still look new. I have all documents from Ford and the window sticker. Lots of Top Quality performance modifications as you can see from photos and some you cannot see. This was a hobby or addiction for me throughout the four years of ownership. Maintenance was performed every six months to include motorcraft oil, oil filter, and tire rotation performed by me. A high performance front end alignment but not too aggressive was performed by the same shop JPC Racing uses. Most mods were discussed with JPC Racing before being bought and installed. This Mustang's handling will impress you with near stock ride quality. Modifications are; MRT high flow H-Pipe w/cats, Stillen polished stainless mufflers the car sounds great with no drone, Roush under drive pulley's, JLT CAI, SCT X3 programmer w/Bama tune, Prothane motor mounts, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Carraige House Engineering (CHE) rear upper and lower control arms, w/ anti squat bracket, panhard bar brace, and K member brace w/torque limiters, Edelbrock adjustable panhard bar, Steeda lower tubular radiator support, front and rear anti roll bars w/HD endlinks w/grease fittings, and Steeda HD upper strut mounts, KONI SRT.T struts and shocks, EBC rotors, HAWK HPS pads, ATE Blue brake fluid, and Goodridge stainless steel brake lines. Also Roush Springs front and rear. The car really performs the way it should have from Ford. I have always drove and cared for the car as if I was to keep it for life I have achieved 24.3 MPG. The car is for sale locally.

Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?
Fri, May 27 2016When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Ford's Farley apologizes for saying Blue Oval tracks customers with GPS
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Ford marketing head honcho Jim Farley made waves at CES this week by telling show attendees, "We know everyone who breaks the law, we know when you're doing it." according to a report by Business Insider. Farley continued by saying, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone."
Farley has since amended his statement, saying that Ford dose not, in fact, track its customers in their cars "without their approval or consent."
Apparently carried away with a hypothetical notion, Farley was attempting to describe how Ford might be able to employee aggregated user data for things like accurate traffic reporting and pattern spotting. A Ford spokesperson confirmed with Business Insider that its GPS units are not sharing the whereabouts of drivers, though there are a few on-board services that might do so. After opting in to the services (and presumably being made aware of any/all tracking and data collection), Ford's Sync Services Directions and Crew Chief software do, in fact, allow data collection as a means of improving both systems. Farley added that the opt-in data is not shared, even when being tracked.
This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
