This car with the turbo setup gets 28MPG on the Highway and 23MPG in Town.

This is a very nice Mustang and rare due to not many out there with Turbos. All aftermarket parts were professionally installed. The car was tuned at Dynotune Speed and Performance with a very mild tune since I was planning to use it as a daily driver. It is tuned for 91 octane or higher fuel. The tuner comes with the car so you could re-tune it for a lot more horsepower if wanted. The only reason I am selling this car is I have to many vehicles and not enough shop space so I needed to get rid of one to purchase another. The body and interior are in great shape; no rips, tears, stains or wear marks in the interior other than around the shift boot where your hand rubs when shifting; the body has a small scratch on the drivers side rear quarter panel in front of the tire as shown in the pictures and there is a small dent on the passengers side rear quarter panel behind the tire that I can't even capture in a picture, neither are very noticeable even with the black paint; on the under side of the hood there are some small holes cut to allow for the extra space needed to fit the turbo so the hood will close as shown in the pictures; the paint shines with no clear coat peeling or faded spots, car has been stored inside and driven only in nice weather. This is a very fast and fun car to drive. Always Adult Owned and never smoked in.

Car has a Clean and Clear Title

Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike. Scroll down to hear a few people from Ford talk about the crosspollination between its racing and engine teams and watch the EcoBoost get red hot on the dyno.

New Ford Police Interceptor tech protects cops' backsides

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

It was only a matter of time before law enforcement agencies would realize the potential of driver-assist technology for use in their Ford Police Interceptors, and, now that they have, those back-up cameras and radar systems won't be used just for parking, but for security, as well.
The surveillance mode system works when the camera or radar detects movement from behind the vehicle, and if it does when it's activated, an alarm will alert the officer inside the car, the driver's side window will roll up and the doors will lock, protecting the officer from an unwanted intrusion. The officer, of course, has the option to turn surveillance mode off, mainly in urban areas where pedestrians would constantly set the alarm off, and it can only be activated when the police car is in park.
Randy Freiburger, Ford's police and ambulance fleet supervisor, came up with the patent-pending idea when researching the needs of police officers and riding along with them, during which time he realized officers would be safer with an extra set of eyes watching the area behind their cars, especially at night or when they're completing paperwork, using the in-car computer or handling a radar gun. "Unfortunately, there are people with bad intentions who sneak up on police officers," he says.

Americans will get a four-cylinder Ford Mustang after all? [w/poll]

Sat, 09 Mar 2013

Ask and you shall receive. Remember that previous report suggesting that the 2015 Ford Mustang getting a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and that it would be sold in Europe only and not the United States? Well, according to Road & Track, the rumor is only partially true - The Mustang will get the engine, but it is indeed coming to America.
Additionally, according to RT, the 3.7-liter V6 will continue to serve as the base engine, and since it offers up a stout 305 horsepower in its current form, it's likely that the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce a bit more than that. At the top of the range, the Mustang GT will continue to soldier on with a V8 engine, which should continue to send over 400 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Finally, while we agree 100 percent with RT's heartfelt request for a paddle-shift automatic, we certainly expect that the EcoBoost 'Stang will be offered with a manual transmission as standard equipment. This is a Mustang, after all...
