2007 Mustang GT, 5 Speed Manual with a little less than 52,000 miles. The vehicle has been babied since I got it. The only reason why I am selling it is because I am now moving and I don't have room for a weekend car.

The vehicle has a clean title, never been in an accident ever! It has cloth interior which is in very good condition, except for a small tear on the drivers seat. The condition of the exterior is also in very good condition.

MODIFICATIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION:

-Pypes O/R X Pipe
-Tinted Windows

-3.6" upper pulley that made 11lbs of boost.
-FRPP 39# Injectors
-GT500 Dual Fuel Pumps
-SCT Xcal 3 Tuner
-Professionally tuned by Bill at Second Street Speed in Perkasie, PA. The car made 447rwhp and 394wtq on an extremely conservative tune.
-Air Conditioning
-Cloth interior
-5 speed manual
-New brakes

-Power Windows

The car is in very good condition. The white vinyl stripes are going on 7 years old and have been "peppered" by rocks and debris from over the years. They still look good but the owner may want to replace them with new ones, (very cheap fix, Americanmuscle.com sells them for a little over $100) and a small blemish on the hood. The interior is very clean with no stains. The driver seat has a dime size tear on the side from getting in and out of the vehicle.

Overall the car is a great vehicle. Sounds great and runs strong.

I'm located in Southeastern PA a little outside of Philadelphia.

If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns.  Good Luck!

Ford to pay $17.35 million over Escape recall

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Ford had a bit of a recall spree around this time last year, with a pair of issues on the then-new 2013 Escape, followed by a recall of 423,000 2001 to 2004 Escapes because they might accelerate of their own accord. Accordingly, Uncle Sam pasted Ford with a $17.35 million fine because it took too long to inform customers, according to a report from Automotive News.
Ford agreed to settle with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, accepting the fine but not admitting fault. The recall, which afflicted Escapes with the 3.0-liter V-6 along with 217,000 Mazda Tributes from 2001 to 2006 and 2008, was due to faulty gas pedals that could stay down after a driver removed their foot.
Ford issued a statement regarding the fine, saying, "We take the safety of our customers seriously and continuously evaluate our processes for improvements. While we are confident in our current processes for quickly identifying and addressing potential vehicle issues, Ford agreed to this settlement to avoid a lengthy dispute with the government."

Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car

Thu, Jan 29 2015

As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. Head over to R&T for the complete read.

Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
