2007 Ford Mustang Gt *mint* on 2040-cars
Stamford, Connecticut, United States
For sale is a beautiful 2007 Ford Mustang GT. I purchased
this car as a pre-owned vehicle from a local Ford dealership in 2008. The car
had 5,900 miles when I bought it. This car has been under my meticulous care
ever since. This Mustang has never seen the rain (for as long as I’ve owned it)
and has been sitting in my garage for the majority of its life. It has logged
less than 21,000 miles on it as of April 20th. Do the math, this car
has been driven 15,100 miles since 2008, or about 2,500 miles a year. This car has been driven only in the spring and summer and
has never seen any form of precipitation. During the winter months, this car
has been winterized in my garage and only periodically started when the weather
was clear. More about the car: This car is 99% stock. The only modifications that I have
done to this car are easy to remove bolt-on’s. It has the Flowmaster American
Thunder axle back exhaust and a K&N cold air. The exhaust is perfect in my
opinion because it offers a rich growl when you step on the pedal, with out
producing drone at cruising speeds. It also has aftermarket factory color
painted side scoops and a pair of two “Powered by Ford” emblems under the GT
emblems. All these parts are extremely easy to remove if they aren’t your cup
of tea. Other than that, this car is bone stock. The wheels it has on are 18”
all around and were an option from the factory. It has the Shaker 500 stereo
system and full leather seats. The pictures of this car don’t do it justice.
This car is absolutely breathtaking in person. I highly encourage any potential
buyers who have the ability to come see this car in person, do so. If you have
any questions, feel free to email me at ruano416@hotmail.com. Thank you and happy hunting Oscar |

Mustang retakes monthly pony car sales crown from Camaro
Wed, Dec 3 2014Going back to their origins in the Swinging '60s, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro have been fierce rivals for fans' hearts and dollars. Historically, the Ford often led in volume, but Chevy took the muscle car top spot in 2009 upon the Camaro's rebirth. However, with the launch of the latest Blue Oval pony car, the tide is turning back in Ford's favor. November was the first full month of sales for the new 2015 Mustang, and according to TheDetroitBureau.com, the model did spectacularly well. The Blue Oval shifted 8,728 of them, up 62 percent from same month last year, with the automaker proclaiming it the model's best November sales since 2006. Conversely, 4,385 units of the Camaro were delivered, down 13.5 percent year-over-year, meaning its sales were roughly half that of the new-generation Mustang. Ford is understandably happy with the results, and product development director Raj Nair even hinted to TDB that another version of the Mustang might be unveiled at January's North American International Auto Show. Rumor has it that the model will be the even more potent Shelby Mustang GT350R. Despite the Mustang's November success, the Camaro outsells it year to day. So far in 2014, Ford has sold 73,124 Mustangs versus 79,669 examples of the Camaro. With December offering the last chance for an overtake, the Bowtie may yet remain king for this year's sales crown. A new Camaro is peeking over the horizon, as well. It's reportedly moving to the Alpha platform used by the Cadillac ATS, and production could start in late 2015. Prototypes are already testing at the Nurburgring, and camouflaged examples have been spotted weirdly being compared to its '80s forefather.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Ford to announce Mulally retirement, Fields CEO as early as May 1
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Ford CEO Alan Mulally may be about to announce his long-rumored retirement from the Blue Oval, according to a pair of insiders who spoke to Bloomberg. An official statement on the succession could arrive as soon as May 1. Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields is rumored to step up as the new CEO. The company is said to be readying the announcement soon to ensure an orderly transition of power, according to the insiders.
Mulally's retirement from Ford has been a hot topic for a while. He was seriously rumored last year to be leaving the automaker to take over as the CEO of Microsoft. The board even said at one point that it was okay with them if he stepped down early. However, the CEO maintained he would stay with the business through at least the end of 2014. Fields has been rumored as a frontrunner to take over the top spot at the company since he was promoted to COO.
For the moment, Ford isn't officially confirming any of these plans. "We don't comment on speculation. We do have succession plans in place for our key leadership. We take succession planning very seriously," said Susan Krusel, Ford Global News Manager, to Autoblog.
