THE ONLY ( 1 OF 1 ) 2006 LIZSTICK RED SALEEN EXTREME WITH GLASS ROOF!

This color is simply amazing!  Saleen doesn't paint many of their cars, but the few that they do they go all out!  This candy color was originally created for the creator Steve Saleen's wife, Liz Saleen.  Therefore the name "Lizstick" red.  It was such a huge hit on her personal car that Steve agreed to paint a few more lucky Mustangs this magnificent color.  A few S7 supercars also received this high end paint.

This color looks amazing from every angle, in all light.  It is a must-see!  The Saleen team went all out.  Once the motor was pulled for the internal modifications (including forged internals), the engine bay and under the hood was painted to match, including the crazy amounts of sanding time to make this paint look as amazing as it does.

This extreme paint job was an option that cost $15,000!

You will receive the original window sticker, showing original MSRP of $93,000!

You will also receive Saleen documentation which states this vehicle is truly a 1 of 1 car with this color and options.

THIS CAR STILL SMELLS BRAND NEW!

NOTE - The AutoCheck Report will show that the title has a mileage discrepancy. The issue was that the original owner was a car collector with way too much money and a huge collection of fabulous cars. At one point, for some type of business reasons, he transferred multiple vehicles from his collection to another family members name (which is why the report states 3 owners when there has only effectively been two). At the time of the name transfer, while standing in the DMV, they realized they didn't know the exact mileage on the vehicles that they were transferring, so they gave a close approximation. I know, pretty dumb, but then when you have too much money I guess you don't worry about the small stuff. The mileage was corrected later, and was only originally off by a few miles, but that sends up a red flag to a CarFax or AutoCheck.  Anyway, the mileage is indeed correct. I had a mechanic look over the vehicle thoroughly before I purchased it to make sure that there was no odometer roll back or anything fraudulent. I purchased the car with just over 1500 miles on the odometer and it was easy to tell that it was the correct mileage due to the cleanliness and condition of the undercarriage, original tires, etc. The car looked and smelled like it just rolled off the factory line. You can be positively sure of the genuine mileage and condition of this ultimate show car.  Please feel free to have anyone look it over, inspect it, and check it thoroughly for your piece of mind.

Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.

Ford Fiesta becomes UK all-time best seller

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

We may regard Ford as an American automaker, but ask a Brit and they may tell you otherwise. The Blue Oval has, after all, been selling cars in the UK since 1903, and started manufacturing there as far back as 1911 when it began local production of the Model T in Manchester. Last year Ford ended 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK when the last Transit van rolled off the assembly line in Southampton, but it's still the biggest-selling automotive marque in Britain.
Ford has led the British market for 34 out of the past 45 years, selling more Fiestas than any other company sells any other car in the UK since 2009... when it overtook the Focus. In fact the Fiesta has now become the best-selling car in British history, topping 4,115,000 units since its introduction in 1976. The previous record was held by - you guessed it - another Ford: the Escort sold 4,105,961 units over the course of its 32 years on the British market.
Although the Fiesta is no longer manufactured in the UK (previous versions having been built at Dagenham until 2002), engines are: the EcoBoost line was developed at the company's R&D center in Essex and are built at the factory in Dunton, while its diesel engines were developed at Dagenham in East London. Even the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine in the Fiesta ST is built in South Wales.

Ford CEO Jim Hackett reviewing the future of technology, Lincoln, overseas markets

Mon, Jul 31 2017

By Paul Lienert and Joseph White Ford Chief Executive Jim Hackett is reviewing the automaker's operations in India and other markets, as well as Ford's future product programs including plans to build a self-driving commercial vehicle in 2021. Hackett, who took over as CEO in May, has told investors he is working on a 100-day review of Ford's operations but has so far provided few details of the process, except to indicate that it is looking at the automakers' luxury vehicle strategy, the future of its small vehicles and investments in emerging markets. Ford Chief Financial Officer Bob Shanks told Reuters in an interview that the review covers a range of issues, including Ford's strategy for India. "We have a lot of work to do (as) we address issues of how to fix India," Shanks said. "Everything is on the table." General Motors in May said it would stop selling cars in India but continue to produce vehicles there for export. Shanks said no decisions have been made and noted that Ford has a larger business in India than GM did. "We are very cognizant that will be the third-largest market in the world," he said. "Some big decisions will be made," Shanks said, but he cautioned Ford may not disclose all those decisions at the end of the 100-day review. Hackett is addressing challenges that have contributed to a nearly 8 percent decline in Ford's share price this year. The review of the Lincoln luxury brand includes whether current plans will meet former CEO Mark Fields' ambitious targets for growth and revenue, people familiar with the process said. Ford has set a target of putting a self-driving shuttle into commercial ride-sharing fleets by 2021. Hackett is reviewing the investment and timing for that project, the sources said. Hackett also assessing whether to reduce and consolidate production of models such as the Fiesta subcompact and two midsized sedans that are built in multiple locations around the world, but are experiencing slowing demand. One proposal would shift production of the next-generation Mondeo midsized sedan from Europe to Mexico, where it would share an assembly line with its sibling, the Ford Fusion, avoiding the cost of retooling two plants. Shortly after he took charge, Hackett approved a proposal to shift production of the next-generation Focus for North America from Mexico to China, saving the company an estimated $500 million by consolidating two factories into one.
