Hello, up for bid is my 2003 Mustang SVT Cobra convertible, mineral gray low number build #317, I have the SVT paper work and window sticker along with original 2 sets of keys. I have owned this car for almost 3 years, my previous toy was a 2006 Viper SRT FE that I sold 2 years before buying this one at the urge of my sons that are into the Mustang thing, I must say this was a very good buy and a great muscle car for the money. I purchased this car with just under 19k miles on it, now the odometer states 21,938 so I have not driven it much, most of the time it is in the garage covered and setting on a quick lift. I have never smoked the tires or dragged or raced this car Iam too much of a poser for that, also Iam not a young man, in my late 50s with nothing at all to prove, and I love my low insurance rates. I have made many tasteful upgrades to the car but never would touch the motor, it is powerful enough in my opinion.

1-JLT intake pipe, painted to match car

2-JLT catch cans or puke tanks

3-Hood struts, painted to match car

4-Hood vents (black metal&larger openings than factory)

5-Tinted windows

6-Smoked headlights, tail lights. sequenchal tail lights, smoked side markers, American Muscle

7-CDC light bar with third brake light and auto cut off switch, American Muscle

8-Steeda Trax short throw shifter

9-Numerous brushed alum. replacement items on interior. CDC-American Muscle

10-SLP catted x pipe, SLP cat back system, American Muscle

11-Custom painted interior parts-mineral gray

The following has been purchased but not installed, not included with auction, can be purchased at agreed price...

1-Cervinis 2 piece speedster tonneau. new in box primed and ready for paint, American Muscle-not the cheap fiberglass one.....

2-Tinted wind screen, attaches under light bar, new in box, Anchor Room

3-Morroso 3 point strut tower brace, still in wrapping, Anchor Room

PLEASE NOTE, I have in my garage every factory item I removed from this car including the exhaust system. and they are a part of this sale.

My name is Rick I can be reached at 757-236-1711, Iam a business owner and also attending summer college so be patient with return calls and texts. Iam not looking for trades but interested in very nice early year ford bronco plus cash.....please no tire kickers, low ballers, or joy riders, and as far as car marketers go ? please get a real job and don't call me at all. this car is listed in other venues so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Iam firm with my price, would keep for the grandkids before giving it away. Good luck, these low mile cars are getting rare out there especially this clean.

This car is sold as is where is, no warranties implied. please never buy a car sight un-seen, third party inspections allowed, I will never give the keys to anyone for test drives unless you have 24,500.00 in cash. otherwise I will take you around, no test drives in rain or just after rain, I detail this car after every use, once you buy it you can drive it any time you wish.

2015 Ford Mustang renders reveal look of the real thing

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

This is, according to the pony-car obsessed kids over at Mustang6G.com, the closest, most accurate rendering of the new, 2015 Ford Mustang to date. Artis Chazcron used a combination of Ford CAD images and information from assorted spy shots to assemble a fairly handsome car, albeit one that conforms to the tired cliché of being more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Now, it's very important to note that these are still speculative renders, and that they only represent the base car - that could explain the lack of the Mustang's vestigial side scoops, along with other, newer styling cues that Mustang6G seems to think will arrive on production models. Those items include a new, double-bubble roof, although the Mustang aficionados claim that even if it were present, it'd barely be visible from these angles.
The front end is pretty spot on, compared to what we've seen from earlier spy shots, while the tail, with its interesting light design is something new. The louvered taillights look quite different from the current version, obviously, though Mustang has gone the whimsical route with taillights before. Also, note the new rear diffuser uses an integrated reverse light and rear foglight, the latter of which is required for sale in Europe.

Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

The Ford booth here at SEMA is practically a 1970s throwback with all these customized vans sitting front and center. And we're completely fine with that. Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
Of course, that's not the only van you can see at the Ford booth. In fact, there are 10 Transit Connect vans on display from Ford here at SEMA, and you can see them all in our live gallery of high-res images above. Then, if you want to know more about each specific model, feel free to scroll down to read all about these vans in the official press release from Ford.

2013 Shelby GT350

Fri, 31 May 2013

Shelby is a name as synonymous with the Ford Mustang as marshmallows are with campfires. But unlike the short-lived sugary confection that is prepared on a stick, the late Carroll Shelby's name on the placard means added performance and exclusivity. Launched in 1965, the automaker's celebrated early cars were in production for a limited run - today, a mint concours-quality 1965 Shelby GT350 can sell for upwards of $350,000.
To coincide with the 45th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350, Shelby American reintroduced the GT350 in 2011. Like the original, it was only offered in white with blue stripes. Customers were offered a choice between naturally aspirated (440 horsepower) and two levels of supercharging (525 horsepower with a warranty or 624 horsepower without). The manufacturer calls the GT350 a "post-title" package, a term that means it starts out life as a stock Mustang and is modified outside Ford's factory (this is in contrast to the Shelby GT500, which is a standard Ford production car).
As the GT350 enters its third year, Shelby has made several changes. Mechanically, Wilwood brakes replace Baer units and Recaro seats and a tinted glass roof are on the options list. Cosmetically, the vehicle is now offered in most of the Blue Oval's factory colors, new multispoke wheels are available in Satin Black or Bright Silver Metallic finish, and customers can choose between Satin Black, Silver or Gloss White stripes (or Azure Blue Metallic on Performance White or Ingot Silver). Aesthetically, the look of the car has also changed somewhat - keen eyes will note that it actually appears more 'stock' than it did last year.
