Up for auction today at a very low reserve, we have a nice 2003 Ford Mustang GT. I have owned this car for just over 4 years, and it has always been a stored, summer cruising car, not a daily driver. The Mustang is pretty much stock, with the exception of a cold air intake, short throw shifter, 3.73:1 rear gear and a Bisanni exhaust system. The car has just over 71k miles on it, and still looks great. Tires and brakes only have about 5k miles on them, and are good, no uneven wear. The paint is nice, and shines up good with minimal wear to be expected with a used car with 71k miles on it. There are a few paint chips on the car that have been touched up over the years, but overall still looks good. Interior is nice, with only one small burn hole on the bottom cushion of the drivers seat (was there when Ibought), and since I've owned it ithas not been smoked in. Car has NOT been raced or abused, just cruised when it was the last in the garage and easiest to get out. I've always done any maintenance it's needed, and this could be driven across country with no worries. About the only thing I was going to do, is replace the chrome MUSTANG letters on the rear bumper, as the u & s are slightly bent from a cruise night bump with a 49 Merc, but it's never really bothered me enough to change them out. Mustang has a small note left, and will coordinate with the bank after sale for the release of title. Car is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranty expressed, implied, or written. Non-refundable $500.00 deposit due no later than 24 hours after auctions end, and full payment expected no later than 7 days after auctions end. I can, assist with shipping if need, but costs are FULL responsibility of bidder. I can store for a resonable time (inside, under cover), once paid in full if needed. Be sure to check out our other auctions as we currently have a ton of parts and cars for sale, and call Chris with any questions, 330-261-1815.

Ford recalls 300,000 Crown Vics over lighting module
Wed, Dec 23 2015The Basics: Ford is recalling 312,814 units of the Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis sedans from the 2003-2005 model years. They were built at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant between Oct. 3, 2001, and Aug. 2, 2005. Ford says 296,004 of those units are located in the United States, with another 14,714 in Canada and 2,096 in Mexico. The Problem: The solder joints on the lighting control module could crack, depriving the headlamps of the power they need to light the way ahead. That could increase the risk of a crash, particularly at night and in other low-visibility situations. Injuries/Deaths: Ford reports that it is aware of 11 accidents that resulted from the problem, leading to one injury described as "minor." The Fix: The manufacturer is instructing dealers to replace the entire lighting control module. If You Own One: Make sure your headlights are working before getting under way. If they're not, avoid driving under low-light conditions, including at night, in heavy precipitation, or in fog. Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. Ford dealers offered discounts on tools to fix aluminum
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With the introduction of the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 (and the likely use of aluminum in future Ford products), Ford is looking to help its dealerships reduce costs related to repairing this more labor-intensive material. Automotive News is reporting that Ford dealers with body shops will require an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in equipment and training to work on aluminum, and to help alleviate the financial burden of the new F-150, Ford has announced a special 20-percent discount on this equipment.
Dealers will be able to save up to $10,000 on tools such as welders, air-filtration systems and rivet guns and to create aluminum-specific work stations. The new F-150 goes on sale in the fourth quarter, and dealers have until October 31 to take advantage of this deal, according to the report.
