Up for sale is my 2003 Ford Mustang GT. Awesome car to say the least, has just over 70k miles on it and runs great. It's 5 speed manual transmission and 4.6L V8 are a great combination for this car and makes it very fun to drive. In the past 6k miles this car has had a complete tune up and overhaul of car including all fluids changed (motor oil, transmission oil, differential, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, etc.) as well as many new parts including: new NGK Iridium spark plugs, New Accel ignition coils, new shocks and struts all the way around, new brakes with cross drilled and slotted front rotors, new water pump, cooling hoses, serpentine belt, and much much more making this car extremely reliable for it's next owner. This car rumbles to life inhaling through a brand new Ford Racing intake manifold, and a K&N cold air intake, and exhaling through a BBK catted X-pipe and a Magnaflow catback exhaust. Sounds great without being obnoxiously loud, and gets lots of compliments. Have put lots of money into this car making it nice, has many upgraded parts such as: SVT cobra front seats (leather and suede, very comfortable), HID headlamps, 17" black and polished bullitt wheels (have facotory wheels too) sequential turn signals, billet interior pieces, Mach 1 front bumper lower lip, and much more. Car is perfect other than a few minor paint defects.
Now onto the bad: This car has a reconstructed title, as it was involved in an accident in 2009. You would never know it by looking at the car. This car can be registered in both Massachusetts and New York without any hassle (bought it from someone in Mass.) If you are from another state other than Mass or NY, check with your local DMV to see the process involved in registering a vehicle with a reconstructed title.
I've taken extremely good care of this car in the time i've owned it. I use all Amsoil synthetic fluids throughout the drivetrain (engine, transmission, differential, etc.). Car is mechanic owned, and is ready to see at least another 100k miles of use. You can contact me, Andrew, at 914-582-9680 and I can tell you more about the car if you are interested. Thanks for looking!

Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City
Thu, 02 May 2013Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.

J Mays' legacy
Fri, 15 Nov 2013
Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
Ford Figo concept unveiled in India
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Ford has officially unveiled the Figo Concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. While it may wear a concept badge, we'd argue this little sedan, which is under 12 feet long, looks ready to replace the current Figo and do battle with other B-segment cars in the world's emerging markets.
"With the Figo Concept, we are showing that choosing a compact sedan does not mean compromising on premium design or smart solutions," said Kumar Galhotra, Ford's VP of engineering, global product development. That premium design includes Ford's familial, trapezoidal grille and Fusion-esque headlights in front, while the rear end reminds us of the last-generation Focus Coupe. While that car wasn't exactly attractive, the chopped off tail looks pretty nice on this smaller car. And if you really don't like the looks of the Figo Concept, just remember - it looks better than the current production model. Aerodynamically, the Figo's shape is quite slippery, which means reduced wind noise and improved fuel economy.
As for the "smart solutions" touted by Galhotra, the narrow confines of Indian streets make driving even the tiniest cars a challenge. To give the Figo Concept a one-up on the competition, Ford has fitted power-folding mirrors that sport a "flexible architecture," which should stand up well to bumps from cars, people or bikes. We don't have any interior images, but Ford is promising a large cabin, that includes a dock that can accommodate a phone or MP3 player, allowing either to be controlled through the car.
