This is the Ford Mustang Convertible 2001, $2625.00. It has a 3.8 liter engine and it's a V6 still powerful but great on gas. The car has 130,xxx about average to less for this year car. The car's engine is in great shape, including the transmission. I just had a full tune-up done in August.

Needs a driver's side door hinge the bottom of the door is rubbing in the corner. It has 460 Mach stereo system in it but only one side back and front works. The car has some rust on the passenger's side door some on the under carriage. There is a few scratches and dings on the car the spoiler and rims need a touch up. The top has one small rip but it does not go all the way through to the first layer. I have kept the car's maintenance up to date and always use Lucas products for the oil and the gas treatment. The rims/tires are worth around $1800+ alone, so you would be getting the car for approximately $825.

*The car needs body work and would prefer a mechanic, or someone with welding experience that would be able to fix the car to buy it. It needs to be welded up by the gas tank and on the side of the back seat, on the frame. The strut mount towers will need replacing in the near future as well;  it  needs a rear wheel axle fixed it is leaking on the inside of the tire, the car is still drive able. The ABS light comes on now and again, the mechanic I bought it from explained there is a loose wire in the front left tire.
I did not drive this car the two winters I have owned it, but it has been driven in the winter months in the past. If you have the skill, or can put a little money in this car you could have a great car for a small amount of money. The car also has many useable nice parts, if you are rebuilding another Mustang the parts would come in handy or you could make money by selling the parts. If you live in a state that doesn’t require inspection, the car could still be registered and driven. It just needs the work listed above addressed in the near future.

Pros:
Automatic transmission-- solid doesn't miss a beat
No leaks or skips in the engine--
Just received a full tune-up
New fuel filter
Just received a new oil change in August hasn't been on the road since October
New air filter
New battery
Well maintained and clean engine
Power everything
Key less entry
Custom headlight
Leather interior (no rips or tears)
Gas saver

Top and windows work perfectly
Unique rims and low profile tires (Sendel Chrome Rims and 18" Nexen Tires, 3000) Approx. 70% tread.

I also sold this car once but the deal did not go through completely so the Title is clear/clean with no liens but it has been signed. I took it to the local DMV and they said the Title is not voided since I did not cross anything out or that I didn’t white anything out. There should be no problems registering this car. This car has turned a lot of heads and it really is beautiful it just needs some TLC. I have loved and cared for this little beauty for a year and a half now, I just do not have the knowledge or time to put in to it. I also bought a 4 door sedan since my son has out grown the Mustang. The car is being sold as-is and hope someone can fix her back up and enjoy her as much as I have.

I am a seller on Ebay but I have never sold a car, your emails are always welcome and appreciated. If you live in the New York area or surrounding states, you could pick the car up if not you will need to use a courier service. Thank you.

Radical RXC is a Mustang-hearted racecar for the road

Fri, May 30 2014

Radical has been building fantastic open-cockpit racers and roadcars for years, for the track day enthusiast who wants a vehicle that looks like it could show up for a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company's latest creation is the RXC, and while this coupe looks like a prototype racer, it's road legal in the UK and in some parts of the US. When testing a car this, um, radical, the first thought is likely to get it to the track for some big slides and wide open acceleration, but XCar Films takes the opposite approach in its latest video to learn how this racer fares on public roads. The version tested here is the standard RXC with the 3.7-liter V6 out of the Ford Mustang tuned to 350 horsepower with a seven-speed sequential gearbox; but Radical also offers the same engine with 380-hp, a 454-hp Ford EcoBoost 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, or even a 500-hp V8. Even in the most basic guise, it's a handful to control in the wet, if this video is any indication. The cliche of a road-legal racecar is bandied around a lot in the motoring world, but it truly applies to the RXC. The only problem with seeing the RXC exclusively on the road is that it can never really open up and show its full potential. This racer is indeed chomping at the bit to rocket off into the horizon, but all those pesky road safety laws hold it back. Still, the video is a chance to get a better impression about this thoroughbred sports car. Scroll down to check it out. This content is hosted by a third party. Verizon buys Telogis in connected vehicle market push

Wed, Jun 22 2016

(Note/disclaimer: We are owned by Verizon, by way of AOL. This gives us no inside track whatsoever when it comes to news.) With a lot of tech companies and automakers staking their claims in the connected car space, now there are signs that others are looking to move in, too. Today, telecoms giant Verizon announced that it is acquiring Telogis, a California-based company that develops cloud-based solutions for mobile workforces, and specifically telematics, compliance and navigation software used by Ford, Volvo, GM and other car companies, as well as Apple and AT&T. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, although we'll try to find out. Considering that Verizon in 2015 reported full-year revenues of $131.6 billion, the price would have to be very high to be considered "material" and may not be made public for some time, if ever. Telogis in its time as a startup raised a substantial amount of money, just over $126 million in all, including $93 million in 2013, supposedly ahead of an IPO, all from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Back in 2013 when KPCB made its investment (which was the first from a VC firm in the company), Telogis told TechCrunch it was profitable and forecasting revenues of $100 million annually for the year. It's not clear what size those revenues are now, but if it was on the same growth trajectory as before the funding, sales would be around $150 million annually, with profitability, at the moment. Other investors include some very notable strategics: the investment arm of General Motors, and Fontinalis Partners, which also invests in Lyft and was co-founded by Bill Ford, the executive chairman of the Ford Motor Company. Before the acquisition, Verizon actually had a business in fleet management and telematics; in fact, the two companies competed against each other for business from the trucking and other industries. Verizon Telematics, as the business is called, is active in 40 countries. But in a way, Verizon buying Telogis is a sign that the latter may have proved to be the more superior, and the one with the key customer deals.

Alan Mulally talks about why Ford's Falcon had to die

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

When Ford made the decision to end production of the Falcon sedan and Territory CUV in Australia, it wasn't a popular move Down Under. The large, four-door Falcon had been in production for 50 years, and while Ford has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australian market, it's understandable that some people still aren't all that crazy about the Blue Oval's decision.
Speaking to CEO Alan Mulally after Ford's Go Further event in Sydney, Australian site Go Auto reports that the decision was not one made lightly, and that the automaker is doing everything possible to respect the Falcon and Territory's "stakeholders." It's an interesting piece that shows a softer side of a corporation, while demonstrating that Ford is doing everything in its power to make the end of production as smooth as possible for all parties.
Head over to Go Auto for the full series of remarks from Mulally, and then let us know what you think of Ford's handling of the Falcon and Territory discontinuations, in Comments.
