2001 Ford Mustang convertible for sale with almost 140k miles. This is the base model. (Not gt or cobra) It has black exterior color and black leather interior color. The convertible top works well. We bought another car and no longer need this one and we are not planning on spending any money to fix it up. It has been sitting since October 2012. It used to be my daily driver. It gets around 24mpg. It runs pretty good. I will say it probably could use a tune up to make it run a little smoother. I will check my records but if I remember correctly, the oil is fresh with only like 500 miles or so on it. The check engine light is on and I got the code scanned at a local auto parts store and it came up with "minor vacuum leak" that light has been on for some time. It will defiantly need tires as soon as possible. I would guess them to have about 30 percent tread or less left. The back rear tire has a nail in it but it doesn't leak air. The passengers seat has a small tear in the leather. I have installed new spark plugs and new spark plug wires and also a new serpentine belt about 1000 miles ago. Like I said we bought another car and are not planning on spending any more money on this car. I would guess a new set of tires and a quick tune up would get this car back to normal. I don't think I am forgetting anything but if I am I will let you know. The book value of this car in good condition is $4154. Please serious inquiries only. Thanks. This car is 3.8 liter V6 with Automatic transmission. It has power locks, power windows, cruise control, Heat and Air work good as well.

Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch

A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.

Ford builds one-off 50th anniversary Mustang Convertible for charity

At the New York Auto Show this year, Ford revealed a special-edition Mustang to honor the iconic pony car's 50th anniversary. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples will be made, all of them fixed-roof coupes. But the Blue Oval automaker has just announced that it's also building a single 50 Years edition convertible that it will raffled off for charity.
The first production example of the new Mustang Convertible to roll off the line this fall, this one-off will pack many of the features on the 50 Years coupe, including its white paintjob, chrome trim, aluminum dashboard, two-tone upholstery, contrast stitching, special 19-inch wheels and special-edition badging throughout.
This unique cabrio will also be fitted with a special performance pack including Pirelli PZero rubber, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential to help get the 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque from the 5.0-liter V8 through the six-speed manual transmission and down to the road. It'll also feature a serial plaque with the number 0001 of 0001 and chairman Bill Ford's signature.
