1995 - Ford Mustang on 2040-cars
Calabasas, California, United States
Up for sale is my toy Mustang 5.0 a true car lovers dream. This car has been in my possession since 2003 and have modified it with many items that makes this car stand out. It has been mainly stored and not in movement garaged to avoid exposure, only moved if much during summer time a true treasure. This 95 Pony was updated with an original "Black Widow Mustang" body kit, the kit alone was worth 2,300. It also stands on a set of Velox Hyperion 19 inch rims that cost me 2,300 brand new. Added a truck kick a stereo system with all Alpine components. The stereo is of course an in dash Alpine unit with an added Alpine TV that sits on the passengers side 2 x 12in subwoofers, alpine tweeters and alpine midrange with 2 additional tweeters to really make this system be heard. Alpine system cost well over 2 grand as we added LED lighting inside the car and under the chassis of the car, making it light up the night while cruising the streets. Added original COBRA brake kit to ensure it stops on a dime and gives you change, kit cost over 1,500.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid
Thu, 02 May 2013No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
Jim Farley to lead Ford of Europe
Fri, 07 Nov 2014
"We are excited to see Jim and Stephen take on these new roles as they bring unique skills, experience and fresh perspectives to these critical positions." - Mark Fields
Ford marketing chief Jim Farley is taking over the company's troubled European operations as part of an executive shuffle confirmed on Friday morning.
Ford nets $5.7B in 2012, $1.6B in fourth quarter
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Ford brought in $5.7 billion in net income during 2012, which is around $307 million less than one year prior. Even so, the automaker closed out 2012 with the highest pre-tax profit for a single quarter in nearly 10 years, earning $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter thanks largely to a higher-than-average truck mix in the US. That's a jump of $577 million over 2011. Likewise, that translated into fourth quarter income of $1.6 billion. All told, Ford set a full-year pre-tax profit record in 2012. But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is rosy in the land of the Blue Oval.
Like every other manufacturer, 2012 saw Ford get hammered in the European Union, where a deep economic recession continues to drive down consumer confidence. The automaker lost more than $700 million in Europe, and saw full revenue of $26.6 billion in 2012. That's a decline of $7.2 billion compared to last yea. Ford says the market for new vehicles in Europe has contracted to 13.5 million units, the lowest number in 17 years. You can read the full press release below for more information.
