Very clean 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 5 Speed. Dark green metallic exterior with tan and black interior. Power windows, power door locks, tilt steering, power driver seat. Cloth seating
surfaces. Rear seats fold down for easy trunk access. Power rack and pinion steering and 4 wheel anti-lock braking. Cruise control. Car has 156,536 mostly freeway miles. I was
told by the previous owner that the engine was replaced at about 75,000 miles. Engine is powerful and smooth. Uses no oil and just passed tough California emissions in March 2013.
Transmission shifts out well and the clutch is good. Wheels are 17X8 Cobra R style and the 275/40 ZR17 tires are in very good shape with even wear patterns. Car is very original
except for Cobra front brakes, lowering springs, and Flowmaster mufflers. The Flowmasters give the car a little rumble at idle and a nice throaty sound on the freeway, but not loud
enough to drown out your favorite tunes. Stereo is an Alpine detachable head unit with AM/FM, CD and USB and audio jacks for MP3 players, I Phone or I Pod. Paint is original with
no signs of body or repaint work being done. Clearcoat is starting to fail on the roof and the front bumper cover, but over all is still probably a 7-8 in over all condition. One small dent
by driver side front blinker/side marker, but is not very noticeable. There are also some stone chips on the bumper cover and hood. I have owned the car for about 4 years and have
had no major repairs or other issues and the car has never left me stranded. Windshield is about a year old, so visibility is good. Battery is brand new. This is a great commuter car
as it is okay on gas and fun to drive with the V-8 power and 5 speed transmission. I would have no hesitation driving this car cross country, as it is extremely reliable.
Pink slip in hand. Fly in to Sunny San Diego and drive it home. Make it a road trip.
P.S. I am still driving the car a couple of times per week so the mileage may increase a little bit. Mileage in the listing is current as of 05/07. Picture of odometer was about 10 days ago.

1947 Chevy rat rod pickup leaves rubber and smoke in its wake
Thu, 08 May 2014Cool comes in multiple flavors. One one hand, we have the sophisticated attraction of svelte design and the efficient use of power. Of course, on the other hand there is the allure of being the bad boy and going against the grain. That is part of the appeal of rat rods. Ideally, they are built without rules to an owner's specific tastes, and this widened and heavily modified 1947 Chevrolet pickup rod is a perfect example of that spirit.
Coming down the highway with a bent grille, rusted body and pouring smoke, it looks like the pickup from hell. It backs up the looks with some very impressive mechanicals too. Owner Troy Gubser says that the truck packs a Ford Power Stroke diesel with to 42 pounds of boost that runs out of 8-inch exhaust stacks at the back. He claims it managed 505 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque on the dyno. To harness all that power, this hot rod has a ZF five-speed manual gearbox with a ceramic clutch and short-throw shifter. Plus, it has cool little features like a doorbell on the tailgate that operates an air horn.
You might not expect a truck like this to actually be useful, but it has a fifth wheel coupling to haul an RV around drag races and car shows. The air suspension also probably keeps the ride fairly comfy when Gubser wants it to be. Scroll down to check out this beastly rat rod pickup and watch it engage in some diesel drag racing. Warning, there is some NSFW language.
2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car
Thu, Jan 29 2015As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. Head over to R&T for the complete read.
