If you are looking for a "head-turning" 1993 Mustang Limited Edition Cobra then this is the car for you.  This Vibrant Red rare Fox-Bodied Cobra has only 14,374 actual miles.  I purchased it in 1994 with only 2,153 miles from the fanatical original owner.  This beautiful Cobra has all the desirable options, high performance tires w/ cast aluminum rims; remote control mirrors; tinted glass; rear spoiler; leather seats w/lumbar support; AM/FM stereo w/CD player and clock; illuminated visor mirrors; 5.0L super-high performance V-8 engine; 5-speed manual transmission; traction-lock axle; power steering; power front and rear disc brakes; driver's side air bag; 4-way power driver's seat; rear window defroster; perma-plate paint protection; TST tough screen fabric protection and dealer installed stone guards. This car is immaculate except for several small  bug spots on front bumper and speakers "pop" once, every four bars of volume. My Cobra has not been modified in any way and even has the original paint, exhaust, tires and even the wiper blades. You will not be disappointed with this fine car. Purchase includes window sticker; authenticity certificate; owners manual; plastic keys; 1993 Ford source book; extra Cobra emblems; extra set of new floor mats.  Remember they did not make many of the fox-bodied Cobras and many of them have been highly abused and modified plus many of them have been exposed to the elements and quite a few have been driven in snow and ice.  This is not one of those Cobras!  Please contact me with any questions that I can answer to assist you in purchasing this wonderful Cobra.

How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.

Autoblog joins Elon Musk and Danica Patrick in accepting ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Unless you've been living in an off-the-grid cabin in the woods for the last couple of weeks or abstain entirely from social media activities, you've probably seen someone you know dump a bucket of ice and water over their own head recently. While the origins of the so-called Ice Bucket Challenge are shrouded in a history typical of Internet memes, its effectiveness in raising money and awareness for the ALS Association has been astonishing.
Celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, sports, technology and more have generated untold millions of video views in support of the organization that is helping patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), and generated a much needed influx of cash, as well. Recent reports have some $15.6M raised in the last two weeks.
Of course, the big-hearted world of automotive celebrities has taken part in the drenching charity effort as well. Follow on below for some of the biggest names on four wheels getting iced for charity, with a smattering of your favorite Autobloggers thrown in for good measure.

RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.
