1993 Ford Mustang Lx Hatchback 2-door 5.0l Clean Title!!! on 2040-cars
Bristol, Pennsylvania, United States
I am re-listing due to non payment, Buyer did not have funds. I have a 1993 Ford Mustang 5 speed with sunroof and clean title for sale. It's the last year of the foxbody style and its rust and rot free. I bought this car three years ago as a roller with no engine or tranny and it needed a paint job. I been working on it for the past two years.Car has been sitting for past 18 months, I drove it maybe three times. Unfortunately I don't have time for car. I had a 1989 that had a 347 Stroker kit and a Tremec TKO 500 5 speed in it that I put in the 93. The motor has about 75K miles on it and the Tranny has new center force dual friction clutch with about 5000 miles on it. The car has a lot of new parts and it has shaved door handles with poppers, so there is no handles to get in car just remote. It was installed when I got the car but the emergency button hasn't been installed yet. I have it in the box. The car didn't have front seats or door panels but I got a set out of an 89 for now. Driver seat is stained and a little twisted but back seat is original and clean. Car doesn't have AC, Smog Pump and Catalytic Converter System for emissions. It has off road H pipe. Fog lights are not working, Think its something with the switch. Car had a sound system but it was removed. There is a JVC radio, 6 Rockford Fosgate speakers, a crossover and the wiring to hook up system. No Amps. The car has disc brake in front and rear, the rear disc conversion is new with about less than 5000 miles. The upper intake was powder coated as close to color of car. It looks nice. Car is nice and clean for 20 year old car. I always get compliments on how nice it looks and sounds. Car could use a nice strut and spring set up, it still has stock suspension. Car is being sold AS IS. With no Warranty. You are welcome to come see and hear the car before bidding. Below is a list of parts the car has, most are new or have less than 5000 miles on them

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible to recreate Empire State Building stunt
Tue, 25 Mar 2014It would have been all too easy to miss the auto show debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang convertible. It was, after all, unveiled alongside its fixed-roof counterpart at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, lumping coupe and cabrio into one debut. But Ford is evidently still intent on making its new droptop stand out. The top of the Empire State Building ought to do the trick.
Automotive history buffs may recall that, 50 years ago, Ford unveiled its first Mustang convertible atop what was then the tallest building in the world, that Art Deco icon of the New York skyline. Half a century later, Ford is recreating the feat and bringing the new topless Mustang to the same observation deck on the building's 86th floor.
Getting it up there, of course, will be no easy task. While they'd usually airlift the vehicle onto the roof or lift it by crane, the spire protruding from atop the building makes approaching the narrow observation deck too dangerous, and no mobile crane can telescope the thousand-plus feet it would take to get the pony car up there.
XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT
Mon, 19 Aug 2013XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.
Rolling footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang hits YouTube [w/video]
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Just in time for the holidays: Ford took the 2015 Mustang to Route 66 to cook up rolling footage, and we've been given some of the leftovers ahead of the meal. There are no burnouts, no donuts, no revving, and thankfully, no music. It's just two minutes and 26 seconds of the new pony car running free in the desert.
So in case you needed more visualizing help, the video below will help you start imagining how you'll look in your 2014 Christmas present to yourself...
