This is an awesome car! I had it listed once before and have dropped the reserve because I just purchased another car ((Jaguar) and I am out of garage room. The car has been nearly totally re-done. It has the following;
1. new front fenders and front bumper covers
2. new rear window motors
3. new interior
4. new professional black paint job
5. new boot
6. new hydraulics on convertible top
7. new hood
8. new trunk lid and lock
9. new custom wheels
10. rear quarter panels repaired
Also have the original rims and center covers which will go with the car. Also have two extra front fenders (vendor sent me two extras when I bought the first two) you can also have if you want.
I took the car to my mechanic when I first bought it and they checked it all over and could find no problems mechanically. I would be happy to give you their number and you can call and ask any questions.
I did not put a new top on because the one is nearly new that is on it. Exhaust is good, clutch and transmission are sound.
Issues:
I have never had the car in the rain, but would guess the windows would need to be adjusted if you were going to use as a daily driver. I am a car collector so I have never driven the car in the rain.
The rubber trim on driver's side window may need to be replaced.
Power seats not hooked up...they are manual.
Power gas lid deactivated.
Power trunk lid deactivated.
On the car fax you will see a minor front end accident. That is why I replaced the entire dog house. The only damage was on the passenger side front bumper cover, but I replaced both fenders as well as entire bumper cover so I knew everything was OK.
I am sure I have forgotten some of the improvements I have made. I will never get back the money I have invested, but I realize that. I bought this to fix up and restore for my oldest son and now he has decided when I kick off he would rather have the Jaguar.
The car will also be listed locally and I reserve the right to sell locally.
If you have questions or need more pictures you can contact me through Ebay.
Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? [w/video]
Fri, 16 May 2014When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.
Ford reveals automated Fusion Hybrid
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Autonomous cars may still be in their infancy, but more and more big names in the auto industry are diving in head first. Nissan is already making strides with a semi-autonomous Leaf EV and General Motors is planning to offer semi-autonomous tech by 2020. And then there's Google, doing its thing with a fleet of Toyota Prius. Now, Ford is showing off its latest automated effort, a driverless Fusion Hybrid.
Partnering with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and State Farm Insurance, the project is part of Ford's Blueprint for Mobility, the company's plan for transportation beyond 2025. "The Ford Fusion Hybrid automated vehicle represents a vital step toward our vision for the future of mobility," Chairman Bill Ford said. "We see a future of connected cars that communicate with each other and the world around them to make driving safer, ease traffic congestion and sustain the environment."
The automated Fusion features four LiDAR infrared sensors that scan the road 2.5 million times every second, using a principle similar to the echolocation used by dolphins or bats. Using the infrared light emitted by the LiDAR, the car can draw a picture of everything within 200 feet to create a map of its surroundings. According to Ford, the sensors are able to tell the difference between a paper bag and a small animal from a football field away.
Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
