Restored condition with new paint, new top with new back glass, new window seals, new front tires, new radiator, new cooling fan, new rear brakes, recent front brakes, rebuilt air conditioner.
Car looks, runs, and drives great, and everything works.
I am listing this vehicle for my father, who doesn't 'do' computers or internet. A note from him on the rebuilt title:
"Car was lightly hit in left front, only the left front fender was damaged. They replaced the fender and repainted the whole car (which I have since had repainted again). Due to the value of the car vs. the cost of the repair and paint job, it ended up with a rebuilt title. When I bought it (from a police officer, no less!) he did NOT disclose to me that it had a rebuilt title. It was NOT wrecked when I bought it and I did not notice the previous repair damage because the damage was so minor. It wasn't until I got it home and noticed the rebuilt title, that I checked into it and found out the back story. I bought the car with the intention of doing the basic restoration I have done, driving it for a while, then re-selling it and moving on to my next project. I like to buy and fix-up old cars, trucks, and bikes, enjoy them for a while, then get another one. That is why I bought this Mustang, and why I'm selling it. This pony car looks, runs, and drives great, and the minor past damage does not affect the car's looks, safety, handling, or performance."
He also said he will consider trading for a pickup truck or motorcycle.

Car and Driver lists 10Best for 2013, same as it ever was
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Forgive us for having the distinct feeling of déjà vu, but it certainly feels like we've been here before. By that we are referring Car and Driver and the announcement of its annual 10Best vehicles for 2013. To be sure, it's an impressive selection of cars that combine heart-pounding performance and frugal sensibilities, but it also represents something of a broken record on the part of C/D. We're not so sure that's a flaw, though, as the resulting list is tough to argue with.
Vehicles like the Ford Mustang, Porsche Boxster, and BMW 3 Series have maintained their high-horsepower spots on this list for several years now. Even on the more practical and nimble end, the Honda Accord, Honda Fit and Mazda Miata have not budged. These continued spots are even in light of redesigns for some vehicles such as the Accord, Boxster and 3 Series.
In fact, the only newcomer to the 10Best list this year are the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ twins, which knocked out the Cadillac CTS-V. We think it would have been a huge misstep to have excluded the FR-S/BRZ, even in light of the supercharged Caddy's lamentable departure from 10Best.
Ford promises 12 new global performance vehicles through 2020
Thu, Dec 11 2014Ford just keeps rolling out the big announcements today. We've already told you about the next-gen Focus RS coming to the US and the upcoming Sync 3 infotainment system. And this latest one should perk up the ears of racing fans or anyone who enjoys an enthusiastic drive (basically, all Autoblog readers). The Blue Oval says it has "more than 12" new performance vehicles on the way globally through 2020. Unfortunately, the only one that the automaker confirms at the moment is the Focus RS, but recent rumors might suggest a few others. Ford reportedly has the Shelby Mustang GT350R, next-gen F-150 Raptor and a Ford GT successor all on the way, all of which could possibly debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. The future GT might even take the company back to racing at Le Mans. Speaking of motorsports, Ford is also blending its performance vehicle and racing efforts worldwide into a unified entity by combining SVT, Team RS and Ford Racing into a new organization called Ford Performance. It's responsible not just for excelling on the track but also for developing aero improvements, electronics, powertrain and lightweight tech for the Blue Oval's vehicles. "Our new global Ford Performance team ties together racing, performance vehicles and parts. It will allow us to more quickly introduce products and accessories that meet the needs of customers around the world on-road and on the track," said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development, in the company's press release. The automaker thinks this market might be booming, especially among younger buyers. For example, recent data shows Millennials buy ST models at twice the rate of the rest of Ford's cars. Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.
