I have an 86' Gt that has been totally restored. I bought the car from a friend a few years ago mostly finished and I completed the restoration my self.

The exterior is off of a 93' Cobra, code RD, and the trim is in gloss black. Lowered 2".
It has a cervinis hood and a wing taken off of a 93' Cobra.

The interior is out of a 93' mustang. The seats were recovered in leather. It also has a four point role cage installed. It is a bolt in if you didn't like it then it could be removed easily.

The motor is a 306
Trick flow heads and intake
Comp cams cam
Powerdyne supercharger
Tremec 3550 trans
Stage 2 Spec clutch
Electric fan
Everything under the hood is powder coated, not painted.
355 gears
490hp to the tires, car was tuned when the car was put together.
*The nitrous system is fully installed but has never been used. I have never had fuel or nitrous nozzles installed in it.

The interior is 9 1/2 out of 10 and the exterior is a 8 1/2- 9 out of ten. The car is only driven to shows and some on the weekends if I have time. I have used it as a show car and weekend driver. I have played in it but I have never taken it to the track. The odometer I used in the car just rolled over 100k but the car since it was re done only has about 5k miles on it. That is guessing high. I honestly don't think it has that many miles on it. It has very good street manors but it is a blast to drive. Clean Tn title. Please contact me with any questions. Call or text before 10pm eastern. 865 six six one zero eight three zero.

Payment is cashiers check or cash only. No paypal for full payment, only deposit. Deposit with in 24hrs. The car will need to be picked up with in seven days when it sells.

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with

Mon, 12 May 2014

Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.

Why Ford's Alan Mulally would be right for Microsoft, or any company

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

That Mulally was seriously being considered says a great deal about Microsoft and Mulally.
It appears that the chatter about Ford CEO Alan Mulally possibly leaving early to take over as CEO of Microsoft is losing air pretty fast. What's pretty interesting is that it got any traction in the first place.

Hennessey Ford GT sets 267.6-MPH record at Texas Mile [w/videos]

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

The record-setting Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT we showed you at this time last year headed back to the Texas Mile and managed to bring home yet another record. As you may recollect, last year saw Mark Heidraker's machine sprint to a record 257.7 mph thanks to propulsion from its twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8. The big mill sucks down race gas, and this year the creation pulled off a 267.6-mph run over the weekend. That feat set a new record for the event. Something tells us neither Heidraker nor Hennessey are done squeezing more thrust from this machine.
This particular Ford GT has already gone through a number of permutations. Hennessey started by tweaking the factory supercharger set up before abandoning the blower in favor of two turbos. Since then, the crew has poked and prodded it to coerce as much grunt as possible out of the car. We expect Hennessey will probably come out with a video of the record-setting run shortly, but in the meantime, you can see a couple of videos of the car's runs in Texas below (one of which actually captures the record run). Enjoy.
