- Some paint chips throughout the car but nothing bad, there is also a bit of bubbling on the hood, again nothing serious.
- Carb needs adjusting and it could use a few small things (Oil change etc) to be at 100%
- Interior seats could use a good shampooing
- Passenger gauges (Such as oil temp, etc) Could use replacing as they are pretty old
- Engine could use a good cleaning as well.  Definitely a show quality engine, just has not been cleaned in some time
- Needs arm rests for the doors (80.00 on Ebay)
- Could use new molding for the windows (80.00 on Ebay)
- Thermal wrap is unwrapping under the car, could easily be fixed or removed.

Everything on this car has been professionally installed and it is a very fast Mustang.  Dyno sheet measured it to be 450 Horsepower.  This car was obtained by me through a trade from a friend, and I am no where near being a car enthusiast or enough to understand vehicles like this.   This car should only be purchased by someone who understands high end engines like this, as it is not for someone (Like me) who does not understand vehicles very well.  I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability, as I can still contact my friend I obtained it from.  I have a few receipts totaling over 5,200.00 JUST for a few Engine parts ALONE.  There is over $6,500 invested in engine, and over $9,500 in the vehicle as a whole.  I had a recent emergency which forces me to part with this awesome car.  This car has a CLEAN title IN HAND, and ready to be transferred to the new owner.  I will assist in shipping as much as possible, but buyer is responsible for all costs, car is located in Iron River, MI.  Additional pictures available upon request.

Car will be listed with ABSOLUTELY no reserve.  I have the car listed locally, and reserve the right to end auction early if I find a buyer.   This is a great car, and deserves a good home.  It is not perfect, and it needs small things here and there, but nothing serious.  I listed the vehicle the best to my knowledge and it will be sold AS-IS with absolutely no refunds.  I need the money very bad right now which unfortunately forces me to sell this awesome vehicle.  Please ask any and all questions before bidding.  If you have 0-10 feedback, please contact me before bidding or your bid will be removed .  Thank you VERY much for looking and good luck!!

Ford recalls 300,000 Crown Vics over lighting module

Wed, Dec 23 2015

The Basics: Ford is recalling 312,814 units of the Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis sedans from the 2003-2005 model years. They were built at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant between Oct. 3, 2001, and Aug. 2, 2005. Ford says 296,004 of those units are located in the United States, with another 14,714 in Canada and 2,096 in Mexico. The Problem: The solder joints on the lighting control module could crack, depriving the headlamps of the power they need to light the way ahead. That could increase the risk of a crash, particularly at night and in other low-visibility situations. Injuries/Deaths: Ford reports that it is aware of 11 accidents that resulted from the problem, leading to one injury described as "minor." The Fix: The manufacturer is instructing dealers to replace the entire lighting control module. If You Own One: Make sure your headlights are working before getting under way. If they're not, avoid driving under low-light conditions, including at night, in heavy precipitation, or in fog. Ford to cease Australian automaking operations after 90 years

Thu, 23 May 2013

Ford began manufacturing cars in Australia in 1925 with the Model T. In 2016, Ford will stop manufacturing cars Down Under, including the Falcon and the Territory SUV. Ford Australia CEO Bob Graziano has reportedly confirmed the closure of the company's Broadmeadows assembly plant and the Geelong engine plant, both in the state of Victoria. There will be 650 jobs lost at Broadmeadows, 510 sacrificed at Geelong. Of the roughly 3,000 workers the Blue Oval has in Australia, it's said it will try to retain about 1,000 of them at its R&D and product development facilities.
The writing hasn't just been on the wall, it's been a regular item in all the papers and on Ford's bottom line for years. As recently as 2003, Ford sold nearly 75,000 Falcons, but over the next four years, annual sales dropped by something like 10,000 units, and over the last two years, it has sold less than 20,000 per year. It isn't only Ford that has suffered - sales of the other large, locally produced sedan, the Holden Commodore, have also gone over the precipice, triggering the same kind of angst about Holden's continued existence. Ford is the smallest of Australia's local automakers, Holden and Toyota the others, and has posted losses of $AUD141 million last year ($136M US) and $AUD600 million ($580M US) in the past five years. Graziano said the cost of manufacturing is simply too expensive in the country, twice as high as Europe and three times as high as Asia, and there no way to make a business case for staying in the country.
In January 2012, Ford Australia announced it would stay in the country until at least 2016, but by July of the same year, most outside observers were quietly declaring that 2016 would be the last year of Ford Down Under, and even the speculation was making other observers nervous. Ford received money from the Victorian government last year to aid its refresh of the Falcon and Territory, which will continue on schedule for the 2014 model year. A front- and all-wheel-drive sedan on a global platform is predicted to replace the Falcon, with some other SUV expected to replace the Territory. The company says it still intends to expand its lineup in the country.
