1984 Ford Mustang 20th Anniversary Edition Gt350 All Original Low Miles on 2040-cars
Canton, Michigan, United States
1984 Ford Mustang 20th Anniversary Edition
GT350 Convertible, 5.0, 5 speed manual transmission (rare), 14,484 miles. this is a nice survivor car. It still wears its original Oxford White paint and has it's original Canyon Red interior that is almost perfect without any fading. It is originally out of Arizona and was garage kept, and the interior is beautiful. The body does have some some smaller dents in the door, and a ding in the hood and some chips and small scratches around the vehicle. The front nose needs to be polished out to make it nice and white again. The power convertible top works just fine up and down. It still has the original boot and the bag
that it goes in. The top is nice, but the window has come out of it,
and the top needs a really good cleaning to be bright white again. The
Ford Emblem and Mustang lettering on the rear decklid have come off as
well as the side moldings.
The interior is in very nice shape without ant rips or tears. The seat covers are very nice as well as the dashpad (no cracks). There is a nick on the dash in front of the key area and the passenger visor is missing. The rear seats are beautiful also. The windows crank up and down just fine. The Mustang has been sitting for most of it's life, thus the low mileage. It is not perfect because it was not sitting in someone's car collection, but rather as someone's car they bought new and barely drove it. This car is well documented with original documentation (i.e. window sticker, bill of sale, warranty card, dealer items, etc). The original TRX wheels are included. I have one of the original moldings that is from the quarter panel. The 5.0L engine is original as well as the rest of the powertrain. It runs good, but the idle is high (probably from sitting). I have only driven in 36 miles in the two years I have had it, and have not driven it a long distance. Many factory markings are still visible on the car. It does have quite a few accessories such as Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Interval Wipers, Tilt Steering, AM/FM 4 speaker stereo, Premium Sound, and the Light/Convenience Group. I think it will need some paint work where the dents are located, but it does look very nice the way it is currently if you want a nice car to drive around in parades and cruise in's. The original owner did not drive it much, and it sat more than it was driven (thus the 14,500 miles on it). The only reason for selling it, is because I found a nicer one (although more miles) and I don't need two of them. |

National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.
Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
First 500 European Ford Mustangs reserved in 30 seconds [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014We're pretty sure that any initial concerns Ford had about selling the redesigned Mustang in Europe have been lessened considerably, after the first 500 Euro-spec 2015 Mustangs were been reserved in just 30 seconds. Moreover, 9,300 people attempted to snag one of the coveted orders for the all-new muscle car. Yes, Mustang, you should do quite well across the pond.
The registration event was held during the UEFA (pronounced yu-eh-fa) Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.
"We knew there was huge excitement building for the new Ford Mustang coming to Europe, but the response during the UCL Final was overwhelming," said Roelant de Waard, VP of marketing, sales and service for Ford's European outfit. "It was a truly special way to kick off the Ford Mustang era in Europe."
