THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH THE 351 ENGINE, FMX CRUISE-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION. BODY SIDE TAPE STRIPE, CONVENIENCE GROUP, POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, RIM BLOW STEERING WHEEL WHICH THIS IS THE ORIGINAL WHEEL AND THE HORN DOES WORK WHEN TOUCHED, JUST HAVE TO FIND THE SWEET SPOT ON THE WHEEL AND THIS IS COMMON WITH THESE ORIGINAL STEERING WHEELS. AMAZING IT STILL WORKS AT ALL! IT ALSO HAS TILT STEERING, CONSOLE, MACH 1 SPORTS INTERIOR, TINTED GLASS COMPLETE AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST WORKING FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. THE FRONT AND REAR SPOILERS WERE ADDED AND ARE VERY NICE. PLEASE READ THE MARTI REPORT TO VERIFY THIS.

THE ORIGINAL 351 ENGINE HAS HAD A 4 BBL CARBURATOR AND INTAKE ADDED FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE AND A MSD IGNITATION SYSTEM ADDED ALSO. TRANSMISSION HAS A SHIFT KIT AND SHIFTS FIRM WITH NO SLIPAGE. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL AND THE AIR CONDITIONING IS COLD.

Ford's simple suit makes you feel like a drunk driver

We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.

Hyundai, BMW and Ford win Concept Vehicle of the Year awards

More than two dozen jurors started with a pool of 23 concept cars introduced at the most recent Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and New York auto shows, then pared it down to three winners in three categories for the twelfth annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards. The trophy-bearers are said to be those "vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry," and lead their classes in the Concept Car, Concept Truck and Production Preview divisions.
Hyundai had two cars as finalists for the Concept Car category, the competition boiled down to the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis concept, Veloster C3 Roll Top, Honda EV-STER and the Toyota Corolla Furia. It won with the HCD-14 Genesis that was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, a sharp sedan that sharply divided opinion between those who thought it was too much, those who thought it was too much Audi A7, and those who thought it was perfect. The award panel's judges, however, thought so much of it that it's got two awards in one sitting, not only taking concept car honors, but because it earned the highest overall score in the competition it also takes the crown for Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2013.
The final selection in the Concept Truck category was down to the Ford Atlas, Kia Cross GT, Nissan Resonance and Volkswagen Cross Blue. The Ford Atlas took the silverware, after also winning the Eyes on Design award - shared with the Nissan Resonance - at the Detroit Auto Show where it was introduced.
