1970 Mustang fastback for restoration or parts; car needs extensive rust repair including floor pans, torque boxes, passenger side front apron (under battery), passenger rear quarter, outer wheel well & dropoff, rear tail panel & support. Driver side rear quarter/wheel well is solid, but has multiple dents in quarter. Comes with passenger door, hood, front fenders, couple of high back buckets and parts of a fold down rear seat that came with another car I purchased years ago. Rear glass is good, windshield is broken. Right front suspension has been removed as the lug nut studs were sheared off when I purchased the car. Other three wheels roll freely. I do not have a title as NY is a non-title state prior to 1973, listed as salvage just to get the listing started. Am trying to purchase an M code 70 Mach locally that is extremely rusty & stripped. Hopefully that 2nd car will be available for sale before this listing ends.

Ford to spread all-wheel drive across performance range
Tue, Feb 10 2015Car and Driver took a closer look at the all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS, Ford reps having made "broad hints" about it being applied to other performance vehicles. One spokesperson even said that he "can see this as one of those technologies of the future." That would make sense because, as C/D notes, it couldn't have been an inexpensive job to engineer the torque-vectoring unit for the Focus – one that can send 70 percent of torque to the rear wheels, and send 100 percent of that portion to either wheel if needed. C/D also clues into the system's close similarity to the AWD unit in the recently updated Range Rover Evoque, which is manufactured by Sweden's GKN Driveline. In the Evoque, torque vectoring is brake based and two electronically controlled clutches turn the Range into a front-wheel-drive crossover under 22 miles per hour. Ford wouldn't comment on the GKN Driveline connection, or even if there is one. No matter where it might come from, more performance Fords are good for every enthusiast, and we do not look an AWD, torque-vectoring gift horse in the mouth. Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.
