THIS MUSTANG HAD A MILD RESTORATION IN 2003, WITH FRESH BLACK PAINT. THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS PASTEL GREY (WHITE) WITH HOOD BLACKOUT OPTION. THE BLACK INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE GLASS IS IN EXCELLENT, ORIGINAL CONDITION. THIS CAR HAS THE FOLD-DOWN REAR SEAT WHICH WORKS PERFECTLY. THE 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND TRANSFERS POWER FROM THE BIG-BLOCK EFFORTLESSLY. THE 428 CJ HAS BEEN RECENTLY TUNED AND RUNS EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG. THIS GT 500 RUNS AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS. THIS CAR IS LISTED IN THE SHELBY REGISTRY AND I HAVE DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING A FRAMED ELITE MARTI REPORT, EMINGER REPORT AND ORIGINAL INVOICE FROM SHELBY-AMERICAN. I ALSO HAVE OTHER SERVICE DOCUMENTS, ORIGINAL OWNER'S MANUAL, AND CARROL SHELBY'S SIGNATURE UNDER THE CENTER CONSOLE LID. CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FROM SHELBY AS WELL. THIS IS A GREAT, DRIVEABLE GT 500 WHICH IS A LOT OF FUN AND GETS A LOT OF ATTENTION WHEREVER IT GOES. VERY CLEAN UNDERSIDE.

Former Ford CEO Alan Mulally lands on Google board
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Former Ford CEO Alan Mulally often referred to the Blue Oval as a technology company when he led the automaker. Now he'll be offering guidance to a different kind of technology firm: Google.
Mulally was appointed to Google's board of directors July 9, and late Tuesday, it was announced that he will serve on the company's audit committee. The veteran executive led Ford from September 2006 until he retired in June, succeeded by Mark Fields.
While Mulally will act as a board member - rather than in a managerial role - his presence adds credibility to Google's recently announced plans to produce an autonomous car. The ambitious program calls for 100 prototypes to begin testing later this summer. Production of the car is rumored to be in collaboration with a Detroit area performance company, Roush.
2015 Ford F-150 pricing announced, aluminum-bodied truck up just $395
Mon, 28 Jul 2014The eagerly anticipated Ford F-150 has had its 2015 pricing announced, adding only a small amount to the pickup's total cost, despite its weight-saving aluminum body. The XL and XLT entry level models only see a $395 boost over the heavier, current-generation, 2014 truck.
The XL starts at $26,615 while the XLT rings up at $31,890. The increase for Lariat is up a similarly negligible $895, to $39,880. Going up the ladder, meanwhile, the leather-intensive King Ranch sees the biggest jump of the F-150 family, with prices increasing $3,515, to $49,460. Finally, picking up the top-end Platinum trim will cost an extra $3,055, with prices starting at $52,155.
The higher prices are being blamed not only on the aluminum bodies, which trim up to 700 pounds of body fat, but on increased levels of standard equipment. While we were expecting a price hike, the fact that the 2015 F-150's volume trims - Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Reuters that the XL and XLT alone cover 70 percent of F-150 sales - have had less than a $400 increase is hugely impressive.
