1969 Mustang Mach1
Raven Black w/ Factory style AC

This **Rust Free** 1969 Mustang Mach1 turns heads and is a blast to drive. This car is very tight and actually
drives as good as it looks. This car has been maintained to a high standard since its restoration years ago. This
high quality car was restored using only Ford Factory Parts (all chrome and trim is Ford oem). The Raven Black
paint is slick, straight, and shows extremely well. The interior is in excellent shape (seats, carpet, and
headliner almost look new). This car left the factory as a S-code big block 390 Mach 1. The current Motor consists
of the following: 1969 428 Cobra Jet Block dated January 22nd 1969, 1UB Cobra Jet Crankshaft, Cobra jet Rods,
Forged Pistons, a set of worked 427 medium Riser heads with adjustable rockers, PI Ford Aluminum intake port
matched to the 427 heads, Holley Carb, new Headers, Custom Cam, the list goes on… This 428 Cobra Jet runs very
strong and has been balanced (mild mannered until you roll into full throttle…). The C6 automatic transmission
shifts smooth. This Mach1 has disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. The car handles and brakes
extremely well. The Magnum 500 wheels and BFG tires are like new. The Factory Style Air Condition has been
converted to R134a. This car sold new at Mc Dougald Motors in Claxton, Georgia. The car was scheduled for
production on 11-13-68 but was actually produced on 11-11-68 two days ahead of schedule. If your in the market for
a unique muscle car with class, don't miss this opportunity to own this High Quality 1969 Mach 1 Mustang.

Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.

Is that the Ford GT Le Mans racer in the background of this Forza video?

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Shortly after the reveal of the new Ford GT in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it was putting the new American supercar on the cover of the upcoming sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game series. Now it has put out a video of the process of digitizing Dearborn's latest. Whether you're into Detroit steel (or carbon fiber and aluminum in this case), exotic supercars or video games, the video is worth a watch in and of itself. But our eyes were focused on something else. In the background of one shot (around the 1:49 mark) you can see a design board with renderings of what looks to be the rumored racing version of the GT – complete with reshaped air intakes, deeper side sills, a bigger rear wing and a central rear fin like you'd find on the latest LMP1 racing prototypes. It wouldn't be the first time we've caught wind of the prospect of the Blue Oval's new supercar going racing. We first heard of the plans last October, further reinforced in December with reports of the new GT coming to Detroit. And as we reported just a couple of weeks ago following the supercar's reveal, a return to Le Mans could be in the cards – which would be fortuitous timing, since next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 scoring its landmark 1-2-3 finish in the 24-hour race.
