Up for auction is a great running 1967 Ford Mustang, C code 289 with a 4 Speed. It's the original 289, that was just rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. It was bored out to .030 over, and I have all the receipts for the rebuild. The 4 speed shifts great, and was gone through a few years ago. The car was fitted with Vintage Air that works great, and blows ice cold. The car also has a digital dash, and many upgraded parts. This s a desert car and only has a few small rust bubbles in the lower passenger door. The rest of the car is rock solid with NO RUST issues at all. The car sports brand new tires and new wheels, new front shocks, New Air Shocks in the rear, and a New Billet Grill. The car runs great and will burn the tires with no problem. It drives down the road nice, and she stops nice and straight. The paint job on the car is several years old and has chips and peeling away. The car looks good from 10 feet but, she needs some new paint. The nice thing is that the body is very straight and no rust issues. The car will be sold to the highest bidder as there is NO RESERVE!!! I have a CLEAN TITLE in hand for the car! ENGINE/ TRANS: The engine is awesome... just looks the pictures. Original 289, completely rebuilt. New Edelbrock intake, New headers, New AC, New water pump, New Aluminum Radiator with Dual Electric Cooling fans, New Valve Covers, and the Headers lead down to a new Dual Flow Master Exhasut system. The engine fires right up and runs great, no smoking, and no leaks!! A lot of money has been spent under the hood! The trans is a great shifting T10, 4 speed that goes into all the gears great.... You can down shift or up shift without any problems! The shifter is a Hurst Shifter that is New also. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is very clean overall. All the electrical stuff works, like the blinkers, brake lights, wipers, radio, and the digital dash looks awesome!! The seats have some blemishes and rips so, they should be replaced eventually. The headliner is good, the Dash Pad is new, New Digital Dash, works great but, I have not connected the speedo cable yet. New turn signal switch, New Satelite Radio with Blue Tooth, and a Touch Screen Face. The carpet is in Ok shape with some wear, kick panels are good, door panels are good, and the windows and door work just like they should. The car also has tinted windows that are in great shape with no tears or scratches. The exterior is very straight and pretty much rust free. The paint is old, and needs to be redone. The car was originally Red with the black interior. The body lines are all good, panels all look good too. The trunk is rust free, the rockers are rust free, under the hood is rust free, and the torque boxes are in good shape. There are no signs of the car ever being involved in an accident as everything looks good and straight underneath. The drivers and passenger side front floorpans were both replaced and it looks fine. The rest of the floor is rock solid. The Windshield is brand new and it has a New Gasket also. New tires, and the wheels are in great shape. The car is a nice driver type car! The winning bidder is required to pay a $1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of winning the car! The car is being sold " As Is" due to it's age. The deposit must be paid through Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auction closing, and the final payment may be made with a Cashiers check, wire transfer or cash in person. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of the auction closing, and my zip code is 89131 for shipping purposes. Please email me with any questions, and good luck!! |

Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.

Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.
