Missing a few trim items such as pillar pads, and window trim."

I have a 1967 mostly restored Mustang Coupe,  I have had this car since 1994 and restored it over 7 years.  The car is beautiful to look at and fun to drive.  I've replaced both quarter panels, the floor pans, Inner fender wells, Inner engine panel, front fender, etc..  Any and all items that contained rust were either replaced or fully sandblasted and painted.  The interior has factory air (not dealer installed air) although the evaporator coil needs to be replaced/rebuilt.  Factory Power Steering, Factory center console with floor shifter.  Automatic transmission was rebuilt and has less than 300 miles on it.  Stock mustang steering wheel, stock seats with original covering, a few small blemishes but overall nice.  New carpet, New overhead liner, The front suspension has been fully replaced using mostly Moog Parts.  Rear springs have been replaced, as well as the front coils. Dual exhaust with H pipe, Original style interior trunk cover.  New front/rear chrome fenders. Factory tinted side windows.

Even though the mileage states 85,XXX miles these are not original miles due to most items have been replaced from new and I believe the speedo cluster was a replacement from another vehicle.

Engine has unknown miles on it, and is stock, Replaced the oil pump, starter, alternator during the restoration.

Overall the car is fully stock except for the American Racing 15" wheels and lower profile tires, and the Silver Blue paint color was not available in 1967, but was in 1968.

This is one beautiful mustang that gets lots of compliments,

Please ask any questions you may have, I may have left of some items, but since I restored this fully myself, I can answer any specifics.

XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.

Volvo to shake off Ford ties with new platforms, engines

Sat, 23 Feb 2013

It would seem Volvo is finally getting around to throwing all of Ford's things out of the apartment. Automotive News reports the Swedish automaker is preparing to unleash a range of new engines as well as a fresh platform designed entirely in house. The powerplants include an all-new four-cylinder engine set to bow before the end of this year before arriving in the US by 2014. Shortly thereafter, the world should get its first glimpse at the next-generation XC60, which will the company's first model to make use of the Volvo scalable platform architecture (SPA). US buyers can expect to see that machine on their roads by early 2015.
The next V70 and S80 will also use the SPA, though those models will carry V90 and S90 designations when they hit dealer floors. But that doesn't mean Volvo has completely weened itself off of Ford technology. The V40 will continue to ride on Ford bones until the model's next chassis can be co-developed between Volvo and Geely.

Ford unveils next-gen S-Max in Europe

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

Let's get this unfortunate though important tidbit out of the way right off the bat: The Ford S-Max isn't sold in the United States, and it's not coming here, at least not anytime soon. And so it's with our European friends in mind that we share this information about the next-gen S-Max (previewed about a year ago in concept form) that is set to debut all across Europe next year and will be shown off at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Now, moving on...
As with the first-gen S-Max, the new model will boast seating for seven passengers, along with a decent amount of storage space, all packed into a relatively reasonably sized package. Powering the front wheels (or optionally all four) will be the buyer's choice of EcoBoost gasoline-turbocharged or turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines along with automatic and manual transmission options. Included in the mix is a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 160 horsepower, though the 240-horse 2.0 is likely to be seen as the headliner.
There are all kinds of new technologies on offer, ranging from Adaptive Steering to Dynamic LED Headlamps with Glare-Free Highbeams, and it's all housed inside new, more sleekly designed bodywork riding atop a chassis with new suspension architecture designed to make the S-Max a people-hauler that's still fun to drive. For all the details, we suggest you scroll down below to read through Ford's official press release.
