Up for sale is a 1967 ford mustang convertible. This is as original as they come. This car is a daily driver that can be driven anywhere. The ac was working before the compressor gave out.The car has power steering and power kelsy heys 4 piston disk brakes on front. The car has driver quality interior in it and needs a paint job.The car was bumped a few years ago and it bent the hood and broke the headlight bezel but the car will come with a good gt hood and bezel.someone in time past repaired the floor pans so they are good but someone building a show car would probably want to redo them the rear quarters were patched also and have bubbles coming back through in lower corners. It also has bubbles coming through on the drivers door on the front lower corner the inside of the trunk is in great shape and front and rear frame rails are good. The top on the car needs replaced its tore in places and there is another rear window in the trunk as well as the radio bezel and the tops cylinders someone pulled them off for some reason the pump runs fine. everything on this ride works but the fuel gage and top and horn. The engine and trans is top notch it has no knocks or rattles runs cool and dosent smoke the trans works great also .over all this will make someone a great little car I just bought this lil ride 2 days ago and ive drove the wheels off it only thing ive noticed while driving it was that one of tires has a broken belt front tire bounces a little.i think ive covered everything and hope I described it ok good luck and god bless.

ive had a lot of people wanting undercarriage pics so I will be posting some in morning the floor pans were redone by a local body man here in town years ago he just simply cut old pans out and replaced with new flat sheet metal so they don't have the drain plugs like it came with they were seam sealed and rubberized also the cars starter is getting replaced with a new one tomorrow the old one is weak.this car also has a deep cycle battery and hei ignition .I looked for months to buy a convertible before I found this car local but since buying it I have decided to build a fastback instead this car should bring 6500 all day long.please don't bid unless u plan to buy ive had people buy cars from me before and never make payment on them so please bid to buy thanks and god bless

2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility is ready to tackle Chicago's mean streets
Wed, Feb 11 2015As is the way of things, when a civilian vehicle gets a significant update, it's only a matter of time before its police counterpart gets similar upgrades. In the case of the Ford Police Interceptor Utility, it's debuting with the same visual updates as the Explorer on which it's based, at this week's 2015 Chicago Auto Show. Like the civilian-market Explorer, the PI Utility is available with a standard 3.7-liter V6 that pumps out 304 horsepower and 279 pound-feet of torque. The higher-caliber option is the tried and true 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, complete with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The standard Explorer's optional 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, meanwhile, won't be offered to the boys in blue. Regardless of engine, the Utility enjoys standard all-wheel-drive, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. The tranny's default setting is primarily for fuel sipping, although if it detects more aggressive inputs – based on brake line pressure, deceleration and lateral acceleration rates – it switches over to Pursuit Mode, offering officers snappier upshifts and more aggressive downshifts. The PI Utility's other cool, new system is called Surveillance Mode. To protect officers from sneak attacks, Surveillance Mode warns them when someone approaches the rear the car, raising all four windows and locking the doors. While Ford says the system has "intermittent fault filter technology" to prevent "erroneous changes in sensor signals," we're betting it won't be long before veteran officers uncover some way to prank rookies with the tech. Beyond these new systems, this is the same Utility that officers know and love, only with a significant facelift reminiscent of what's found on the civilian model, which debuted at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new grille has a positive impact on cooling performance, Ford claims, while a new headlight setup accommodates the high-beam-based "wig-wag" lights. The new look has also allowed Ford to offer police departments additional customized lighting options, for that special touch. Inside, a new steering wheel and center console should make officers' lives easier, as will the new (and requested) liftgate release button, found in the overhead console. Check out the first images of the new Police Interceptor Utility (and, sporty drivers, memorize that headlight pattern) up above. Be sure to check back for additional live images once we check out Ford's latest cop car, at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

Ford cuts F-150 fuel use through CNG-capable fleet sales, EcoBoost
Tue, May 13 2014The possibility of $1-a-gallon fuel would make a lot of US governmental entities sit up and take notice. The state of Oklahoma and the city of Dallas are making that happen. Those two entities are buying up a bunch of Ford F-150 pickups retrofitted to run on compressed natural gas (CNG), all in the name of cost savings and emissions reduction. Oklahoma is buying 256 of the F-150s, while Dallas is buying another 65. The trucks, which cost between $6,000 and $9,500 to retrofit (on top of the original price), can run on either CNG or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). And while that's a substantial hit, conversion costs are typically paid back in three years thanks to lower refueling costs. CNG prices are as low as $1.07 a gallon in parts of Oklahoma. How much lower? The national average price for CNG is about a buck and a half less than the $3.67 average per-gallon cost of gasoline. And CNG prices are as low as $1.07 a gallon in parts of Oklahoma, where CNG is plentiful. CNG also cuts tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions by about 20 percent compared with gasoline, while the retrofitted trucks can go as far as 450 miles from their CNG tanks in addition to the 300-mile range from their conventional tanks. That's useful in a bit state like Texas. This week, the US Energy Department trumpeted a $5.9-billion loan program that Ford accessed to upgrade its factories for production of its EcoBoost engines, noting that Ford has sold a half-million F-150 trucks with EcoBoost engines. Those trucks have collectively cut fuel use by almost 57 million gallons of gas during the past three-plus years. Check out Ford's press release on the F-150 purchases below and the Energy Department's statement about its loan program here. OKLAHOMA, DALLAS ORDER 300-PLUS CNG-CAPABLE FORD F-150 PICKUPS AS DEMAND GROWS FOR ALTERNATIVE FUEL OPTION The state of Oklahoma and its agencies to buy 256 Ford F-150 trucks prepped to run on compressed natural gas; Dallas orders 65 for its fleet 2014 F-150 available with gaseous-fuel prep option on 3.7-liter V6 engine; can run on CNG or liquefied petroleum gas (also called propane autogas) By summer, Ford will offer eight vehicles that can run on clean-burning, affordable CNG; the company is on track to sell more than 15,000 such vehicles in 2014 The state of Oklahoma, its agencies and the city of Dallas have ordered a total of 321 Ford F-150 pickups that can run on compressed natural gas.
