Feel free to ask me any questions about the car : kimberliekgglickson@ukfriends.com .

I purchased this car five years ago from a classic car broker who bought it from the original owner family in
Georgia. I have enjoyed the car and it has given me an opportunity to relive my youth but I no longer drive it. It
is now time for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. As you can see from the pictures, the car is in
excellent condition with the exception of one very small imperfection on the bottom of the driver side door at the
very bottom near the GT stripe. I am doing my best to describe the car to the best of my ability as I would want
someone to do if I was buying the car. The car only shows 45,609 miles which appear to be original but I do not
have documentation for proof. The interior of the car appears to be original with the driver's seat showing some
wear on the edge. Everything on the car is original and numbers matching with the exception of the aluminum intake
and Carb. The A/C does blow cold but I have had it charged one time in the past five years. It does have power
steering. The car shows very well and has won or placed in a few local shows. I replaced the radio with an after
market but still have the original radio with eight track tape player. However, the radio still works but the tape
player does not. I have been told it just needs a new belt. As you can see, it has the original rally pack. The
clock does not work but can be sent off and repaired if you desire. The fog lights do not work. I'm guessing just
a switch problem and I have never worried with it. The floor pans and frame are in excellent condition. Absolutely
now rust. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tares. I would give the paint and eight out of
ten. It does have a few small places I have touched up thru the years due to driving. This is a car that one can
drive and enjoy as well as for shows and cruise events. It is not a trailer queen nor would I want to own one.

Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.

White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.

2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
