Clean Mustang fastbacks are getting scarce, and this 1965 2+2 with the Original Window Sticker shows you why. They
look awesome, deliver a ton of performance, and, well, it's hard not to fall in love at first sight. There's a lot
of history wrapped up in a sleek fastback, and you'll love driving this car and the attention it gets. This is one
bad pony!!!
At a car show, cruise and on the road…..this IS the car that makes peoples shoulders drop, heads turn, and
sigh….in admiration & longing.
The car that takes peoples breath away.
It is truly rolling artwork!
Bright Rangoon Red in all the right places! This is the ORIGINAL factory color as denoted by the code ‘J’ on
the door tag. The sheet metal is clean and straight, gaps are good. This is one vintage Mustang that truly
delivers on its looks. The paint has a great shine, nearly flawless. Once fully detailed and ‘clay bar’d’, I
added Ceramic Pro Nano Coating. You won't be afraid to drive it and you'll
definitely be proud to be seen in it. The chrome is exceptional, too, including both bumpers and all the stainless
trim, much of which has been replaced. LED Halo Halogen headlights as well as LED sequential rear tails lights
really help you see the road and be seen. If you want a classic early Mustang, they don't get much more classic
than this.
The white interior is factory original with a few modern touches, matching what it says on the door tag, offering
white bucket seats with console and a fold-down rear seat. The dash has been upgrade with new Autometer Phantom
gauges sitting in a classy brushed aluminum bezels, joined by auxiliary gauges, tachometer and more!. The original
AM radio is gone, replaced by an a new AM/FM Bluetooth head unit w/auxilliary cord from Retro (model 2C with chrome
face) along with a Scott Drake Billet Antenna, Polk Audio MM651 6.5" front speakers, new dash speaker, Kenwood -
300W Class D Bridgeable Multichannel MOSFET amplifier. However, if you are like me, you keep the radio slightly
low so you can relish the sound of those Flowmaster duals. There are also fresh door panels, new carpets, and a
correct plaid trunk mat along with a full size spare.
The engine is a 302 cubic inch V8, and while the VIN calls for an C-code 289, most will ever know the difference.
Upgrades are pretty extensive thanks to the booming 5.0 aftermarket, and the list includes Edelbrock aluminum
heads, ceramic headers, a polished Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake and Demon 4-barrel carb, and an
Pertronix Flame thrower Distributor, Igniter III ignition system with a billet distributor. A few chrome bits dress
things up the engine compartment like Cobra aluminum air cleaner & valve covers and the engine looks pretty good in
the satin black engine bay. Shifting gears through this upgraded C-4 transmission is firm and responsive. A big
aluminum radiator with a SPAL Automotive 16" 1298 cgm electric fan really helps keep the car cool on those hot
summer days without effort. A export brace and Monte Carlo bar make a noticeable difference in the way it handles.
Underneath it's exceptionally clean and rust free offering a set of long-tube ceramic headers and a Flowmaster
exhaust system with trumpet tips (this Stang sounds great!), a new gas tank, a 8" 3.25 traction-lock rear end and
plenty of evidence of regular service make this a fastback you can buy with confidence. No oil drips of any kind!!!
To top it all off, this car has never seen rain and has the original set of floor boards!!!! Most mustang owners
can't say that I can tell you.
Controlling this classic is easy via the tilt column with billet steering wheel and the Pro Motorsports front
suspension with tubular control arms, and a Flaming River rack & pinion steering set up. Stopping? Also easy with
a set of Stoptech PowerSlot One front disc brakes (calipers & rotors), Hawk Performance Brake pads, Scott Drake
PBC-A1Power brake conversion kit.
Classic 17" Body Coddington wheels are the ideal choice for early Mustangs, and these wear 245/45ZR17 Kuhmo rear
tires, 225/45ZR17 fronts that look great inside the early Mustang fenders.
This car is fully ‘sorted out’ and this V8 fastback is exactly what it appears and more, with subtle upgrades
that improve the Mustang experience without changing it. This is a true turn-key wash and cruise Mustang that will
leave folks looking on with envy while you are feeling thrilled!
This is the car you deserve

Ford F-Series Super Duty earns Truck of Texas award
Wed, Oct 12 2016Texans love their pickup trucks, which you already knew. That means the Texas Auto Writers Association and its "Truck of Texas" award is a big deal. And the latest trophy goes to the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty. The pickup truck managed to snag TAWA's award at the 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo. The award marks the 13th time Ford's F-Series has been named the pickup king of the Lone Star State. Roughly 70 journalists converged outside at the Longhorn River Ranch, just outside of Austin, TX, for the 23rd annual Texas Truck Rodeo where a host of Ford's vehicles won awards. In addition to the F-Series Super Duty being named the "Truck of Texas," the 2017 Ford Super Duty won the Heavy Duty Pickup Truck award, while the 2017 Ford F-150 with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine won the Best Powertrain award. The journalists also awarded Ford for having the "Truck Line of Texas." Ford wasn't the only winner at the Texas Truck Rodeo, as Nissan brought home five awards, including one for the 2017 Titan in the fullsize pickup category and one for the Armada in the SUV segment. Ram also won a few accolades with its trucks. The 2017 Ram 1500 won for being the most luxurious pickup truck, while the 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon won the off-road pickup truck award. Last year, TAWA named the 2016 Nissan Titan XD the Truck of Texas, but Ford's all-new F-Series Super Duty managed to keep the Japanese automaker's full-size offering at bay. For the 2017 model, Ford placed aluminum body panels into the F-Series Super Duty's body, which not only shed weight, but also make the truck stronger. Scroll down to see the entire list of TAWA's winners from the 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo. Jeremy Clarkson chooses his top 10 cars for 2015 and 2016
Mon, Aug 15 2016Jeremy Clarkson is well-known for his role as co-host on the old Top Gear. But the frontman of the upcoming Amazon Prime Show, The Grand Tour, also has a standing column for The Sunday Times in the UK where he reviews the latest cars. With fall nearing, Clarkson put out a list of his top-10 cars from this year and 2015. Some on the list will surprise you, while others represent everything we've come to love about Clarkson. In order to make his list of star cars, the vehicles must offer what co-host James May calls "the fizz." The vehicles, Clarkson claims, have something that is out of the ordinary. Whether it's the car's looks, the way it gets up to speed, or its high-tech gadgets, Clarkson's top-10 list is made up of items that are more than just tools for getting from point A to B. So which ones made the list? Head over to the column in The Sunday Times.
