1965 Mustang. It was 95 percent restored roughly 7 years ago and has been
driven a total of maybe 500 miles since that time. The owner is a retired Fireman and he travels non stop, hence
the reason for this Mustang being up for sale.
Originally when he first purchased this car it only had a freshly rebuilt forged motor. Nothing else. The car then
had the entire driveline removed and redone. The manual transmission was rebuilt with a centerforce clutch
installed. New Disc Brakes all the way around. Billet Specialties wheels with Michey Thompson ET street Rubber.
Rebuild ford 9 insh rear differential. Custom built 3 inch exhaust with remote electronic cutouts. The Paxton
Supercharger along with the engine was all removed and torn down for inspection. The heads were freshened, cam
changed, and blower sent back to have freshened. We built a custom carb hat enclosure and blow off valve. This car
sounds good!
To monitor everything we added sensors and a Dakota Digital Dash. It stays cool with a Aluminum Radiator and Spal
Fan setup. The engine is all color matched and has no leaks as well. Seats, belts, carpet all changed. It has
Billet hood hinges, billet Master Cylinder, Custom made strut bar. Heim jointed engine braces. This car truly needs
nothing.
The car was just brought in to have all the fluids changed, carb rebuilt again as he was unsure of fuel in it, tank
drained and new fuel pump put on

2015 Ford Mustang prototype spotted on the street
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Our trusty spy photographers have snapped the first photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang prototype out on public streets. With nearly every square inch of the machine covered in heavy camouflage, it's difficult to discern details, but we can see smallish horizontal headlamps at work in the coupe's nose. Ford has made it clear that modern lighting technology will allow the company to get away from large, expensive headlamp arrays in the near future, and the 2015 Mustang may very well be the first of the automaker's products to bow with the new tech. The philosophy was first displayed on the very attractive Evos Concept.
The extensive cladding doesn't extend all the way to the prototype's rockers in the instance, giving us a look at the heavily-sculpted sills. Overall, this test car looks considerably smaller than the current generation Mustang, and elements like a short front overhang and beefy dual-piston calipers give us plenty of hope for the future model. Of course, reports that the 2015 Mustang will bow with an independent rear suspension and EcoBoost power certainly don't hurt our feelings, either.
Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands
V6 engines will outpace V8s for the 2015 Ford F-150
Wed, 23 Jul 2014How times have changed. Even five years ago, who would have thought the mighty V8 would be just another engine choice for buyers of the 2015 Ford F-150?
Ford is projecting about 28 percent of the next-generation trucks will have the 5.0-liter V8. That's nothing to sneeze at, but consider this: Ford figures its two EcoBoost truck engines - the new 2.7-liter V6 and the existing 3.5-liter V6 - will also each account for about 28 percent of the F-150's sales (56 percent total). That leaves only 15 percent of the pie for the 3.5-liter (non-EcoBoost) V6. The new F-150 goes on sale late this year.
