It is powered by a fuel injected 5.0 V8 engine and an Automatic AOD transmission for reliability and driving comfort. It also has many added conveniences like updated factory air conditioning, quick ratio power steering and power disc brakes. This unbelievable '65 Mustang is truly as nice as they come and drives as good as it looks. This car was restored only a couple years ago and its shows beautifully in stunning Tropical Turquoise. It is an original California car with a excellent, rust free body and only 3K miles on the restoration. It has a beautiful, Tropical Turquoise paint job with white GT stripes that looks absolutely gorgeous. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is straight as an arrow and totally solid as a rock. It has all original body panels and floor pans. All of the chrome and trim is like new and in show condition. It also has all new rubbers throughout the car. Absolutely everything on this car is brand new or restored as you can see from the pictures. It is sitting on a set of correct styled steel wheels with brand new BFG tires. This '65 Mustang literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives! The Palomino and Turquoise deluxe Pony interior is all like new and looks amazing. The dash and gauge cluster has all been restored to look like new. The seats were custom bolstered to be more comfortable and custom shoulder strap seat belts for safety. It also custom Auto Meter gauges and a tilt column. Everything works perfectly in the car including the gauges, radio and lights. It also has a fitted AM-FM cassette stereo that sounds great. The white convertible top is like new and has a new palomino top boot. Mechanically, this '65 Mustang is in excellent condition with an upgraded fuel injected 5.0L V8 engine. It also has an upgraded AOD 4spd automatic transmission, quick ratio power steering and power front wheel disc brakes fro driving comfort. Under the hood is beautifully detailed and looks excellent. The car was completely gone through front to back. It only has 3K miles on the restoration. Ford could post best-ever profits in Q1 2013
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Analysts are saying that Ford Motor Company may have earned a record $2.7 billion pretax profit in North America during the first quarter of 2013, a number that represents its highest first quarter profit ever. The impressive earnings are further proof that the American automaker is making a solid comeback as the economy begins to recover.
Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Chase are estimating that Ford's first quarter North American profit may have topped 12 percent. The firm cited the automaker's fresh lineup, but noted that CEO Alan Mulally needs to uphold the pace as the company works to gain ground in the car and utility segments.
Ford's success has been led by increased demand for its F-Series pickup, the best-selling vehicle in the US for 31 years, and by the Fusion sedan that recently recorded its best-ever quarterly sales in the domestic market. Ford is expected to release its first-quarter revenue on Wednesday, of this week.
Ford to auction Mustang Cobra Jet prototype for charity [w/video]

Ford is donating a one-of-a-kind factory prototype for the 2014 Mustang Cobra Jet that will be auctioned off later this month by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 mated to a T4 competition gearbox, this rare Cobra Jet prototype includes a wheelie bar, chromoly roll cage, Weld wheels, three-link rear suspension, racing brakes, 9-inch rear axle and more. It's painted in a unique satin orange with reflective gray striping scheme, bears the serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1 and is fully ready for NHRA competition on the drag strip.
