Beautiful, one of kind stretched T Bucket. Professional Built like none other. Stretched 6" in the front for added leg room, 11" in the rear. Very comfortable to drive unlike most buckets. I've been the proud owner of this for about 6 years, and during this time it's been pampered and stored in a carpeted, heated garage. There's to much to list but I'll cover the basics and feel free to ask any questions. You'll never be able to even come close to building a custom T like this for what my reserve is.

Besides being very rare for being stretched, How many do you see with a radical Ford engine?

The Engine;

1968 302   "heavy" block machined by Lingenfelter. Line bored, decked .011, bored .040 over. Heavy duty full floating racing rods, Keith Black pistons, Pete Jackson gear drive, Compcams roller cam, GT 40 heads with roller rockers, and all the good stuff in springs, retainers, guide plates, ect.  Polished tunnel ram with 2 newer Edelbrocks, HP balancer, Mallory distributor and MUCH MUCH MORE!

Transmission is a B&M C4 with manual valve body, 3000 B&M stall, all bolted up to a polished bell house that's been clear ceramic coated so you never have to polish again.

Rear axle is a Chevy 10 bolt posi trac with 4:56 gears. Trailing arms are Custom CNC machined out of T6 billet, polished, and chromed, absolutely beautiful pieces.

Professionally installed neon kit from front to back. 2 neon lights are even placed hidden inside the scoop and shine down on the polished tunnel ram.

Fairly new centerline rims with Hoosier tires.

Billet CNC machined and chromed leaf spring shackles.

Custom built and polished aluminum fuel tank, installed behind rear axle, allows plenty of storage inside carpeted trunk.

Professional installed interior, the best I've ever seen in a T bucket.

Engine can be heard run at youtube / skyguy7505.

Pre purchase inspection / drives are welcome.

Item is for sale locally, so seller has option to cancel auction.

2015 Ford Expedition stays the course, adds EcoBoost power

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

The era of the body-on-frame, fullsize SUV is rapidly vanishing in favor of smaller, unibody crossovers. However, Ford still sees life in the segment with the reveal of the updated 2015 Expedition, now available (solely) with the company's 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. The new truck will make its public debut at the 2014 DFW Auto Show in Dallas on February 19.
The loss of the previous 5.4-liter V8 in favor of Ford's 3.5-liter, direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6 engine might rankle some of the Expedition's fans, but Ford claims that the change gives the SUV better fuel economy, more power and increased low-end torque than before. Unfortunately, official engine specifications won't be released until later this year, but Ford says engine output will be similar to the 365 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque that this powerplant produces in other applications. The EcoBoost is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV now uses electrically assisted power steering, for an even greater fuel economy advantage. Ford claims this also allows for better maneuverability at low speeds and better feel at high speeds.
Exterior styling is basically unchanged for 2015. The front end has the same three-bar chrome grille and headlight design, but the lower air dam gets added chrome and LED lamps. The rear gets more brightwork on the hatch, and there's a chrome-tipped exhaust pipe. As before, Ford is offering the Expedition in two wheelbase lengths - 119 inches and 131 inches. A new, optional, continuously controlled damping system alters suspension settings constantly based on 46 parameters and offers comfort, normal and sport modes (just like the Expedition's sister, the recently refreshed and decidedly less-attractive Lincoln Navigator).

Find out if the Ford Fiesta ST can match Europe's latest hot hatches

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

The V8 grunt of the Mustang has defined Ford performance cars in the US for the last 50 years, but in Europe, the Blue Oval has nearly as a long history of building some of the best hot hatches on the market with the Fiesta, Escort and later the Focus. The latest Fiesta ST has just hit the roads on both sides of the pond and has been enthusiastically received thanks to its combination of a peppy, turbocharged engine and hatchback utility.
However, Europe is getting a bumper crop of hot hatches at the moment, including the forthcoming, third-generation Mini Cooper S. Should Ford have waited to launch the ST until it knew how the competition performed? That's the answer that Xcar is after in its latest video, and it took the Fiesta to the track and some very misty, Welsh roads to find out. Scroll down to find out whether the ST stacks up.

Ford books $2.6B pretax quarterly profit

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

While its crosstown competitors at General Motors are smarting over a drastic drop in net income to $200 million in the second quarter, Ford has reason to celebrate. The Blue Oval has announced its own Q2 financial results, including a growing net income of $1.3 billion, a $78 million increase over last year. Pretax profits for the company reached $2.6 billion, up $44 million from 2013, but total revenue dropped slightly to $37.4 billion, down from $37.9 billion. Profits per share before one-time charges totaled 40 cents per share, beating Wall Street analysts' expectations of 36 cents a share.
Regionally, the Blue Oval performed strongly, as well. North America posted a record quarterly pre-tax profit of $2.4 billion, a $119 million increase. Europe also showed signs of turn around with its first profit in three years of $14 million after a loss of $306 million in Q2 2013. Ford is actually predicting profitability in the troubled region in 2015. Asia Pacific operations also performed well with $159 million in profits, up $29 million from last year. The only region where the business posted a loss was South America.
According to Automotive News, Ford also announced more precise plans about the changeover to build the aluminum-intensive 2015 F-150. In August, the Dearborn plant will shutdown for eight weeks to retool and its Kansas City plant will do the same next year.
