This car was my dad's baby.  He meticulously restored it and maintained it until his death in 2011.  The car was only ever driven on and off the car hauler trailer to car shows.  It was driven by the original owner for about a year when he purchased it new, and then he put it in the window of his antique shop until he retired.  My dad purchased the car from him and restored it to its full glory.  It has the removeable steering wheel (sometimes called a fat man's steering wheel) and electric start.  The car has been sitting since 2011, since none of the rest of us ever learned how to drive it, so it may need a new battery.  I have all the manuals, receipts, and tools for the car since dad purchased it.  It has won numerous prizes and awards for the restoration and beautiful original condition. All new interior.  This car has the very rare wooden spoked tires.  This is the only Model T I have ever seen with the wooden spokes, most of them have the metal spoked tires.

We are selling the house and moving out of state, so we are looking to sell the car quickly so that we don't have to move it or store it.   It has always been stored in the heated garage and kept covered.  We are looking for someone to love it and care for it as my dad did.  You will see from the pictures that it is gorgeous.

If you have any questions, please message me.  I don't know all that much about the car, but I will try and answer any questions.  There is also a Featherlite car hauler/trailer that can be sold separately if needed.  I've tried to upload as many pictures as I can to accurately show the whole car.  Buyer is responsible for pick up and transportation of car.  A $1,500.00 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours via paypal and the remainder is due upon pickup of car and must be paid in cash.  Arrangements for car pick up must be made within 7 days.

Porsche 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R Nismo star in World's Greatest Drag Race 4

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.

Shelby Mustang stars with Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez in Getaway movie

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Car movies. We keep watching them, they keep making them. Despite Fast & Furious 6 still blowing up the box office (No. 1 in theaters for the second straight week) and production on Transformers 4 being well underway (check out the Bugatti Veyron and Corvette Stingray as new cast members), there's still room on the marquee for more car movies. Next one up is an Ethan Hawke joint called Getaway, which prominently co-stars a Ford Shelby GT500. The first trailer for Getaway, which opens in theaters on August 30, was released yesterday and can be watched below.
The movie's plot centers around Hawke's character, former race car driver Brent Magna, who must somehow use this car, what appears to be a generation-old Shelby GT500 Super Snake he "commandeered," to save his wife. The movie's third co-star is Selena Gomez, whose character we're told is the owner of said Shelby. A 20-year-old having a car like this seems a bit far-fetched - especially in Europe - and on paper, this plot looks like it cribs liberally from Charlie Sheen's 1994 The Chase. But all we've got to go on is a brief plot description and the trailer below, so we'll withhold judgment until the studio firmly has our ticket money in its grasp.
The Shelby GT500 is, of course, no stranger to acting. Before this jump to celluloid, the most fearsome of all Mustang models starred in the return of Knight Rider to television on NBC back in 2008. That gig didn't pan out for the car, the show lasting only one season and 17 episodes. In fact, with its casting in Getaway, the Shelby GT500 is one of the few actors who escaped that debacle with a future in show biz.
