1926 FORD MODEL T CONVERTIBLE ROADSTER

I AM FORCED TO SELL DUE TO FINANCIAL REASON THIS CAR IS BEING
LISTED AT $1 NO RESERVE
HIGHEST BIDDER WILL TAKE HER HOME

I will include shipping anywhere in the continental USA for a flat rate of $650 on top of your winning bid! This will take the guessing game out of figuring out shipping cost, if shipping ends up costing me more than the $650 it will be included with you bid you don't pay any extra! $650 delivered if you want it! If you prefer to pick it up only pay your winning bid.

This is one of my favorite cars in my collection.  Unfortunately I am in a spot now where I need to sell her to free up some cash for personal reasons.  If I didn't not have to I would keep this car forever! I really do not want to sell it. Someone will be getting a excellent classic car that would never be for sale and remain in my private collection otherwise. If it does not sell now I will never let her go again.  Please not the pictures at the bottom of the page were taken during the restoration and do not reflect the cars current state they are included so you know exactly what you are buying.

Too many people turn these into hot rods, Don't get me wrong I like a nice hot rod as much as the next guy I owned a few myself. However here is no comparison you just don't get the same feeling driving a nice restored classic car as you do the hot rod.  Original style Model T's are getting harder and harder to find every year and  the prices keep going up that's another reason I didn't want to sell.

  • She has been restored
  • Upgraded from 6 volt to 12 volt with modern alternator
  • Electric and crank start
  • Real 1926 Ford Model T not a kit or reproduction
  • True original  STEEL body, not fiberglass
  • Body and paint are super strait and look amazing!
  • Paint is so nice and mirror shine! You could use your reflection in the paint to shave, it is that nice!
  • 2 Speed Manual Transmission
  • 4 cylinder 2.9L Engine no hot rod here! Top speed about 45 mph
  • Mechanically sound Everything works, starts, stops, runs, shifts just like it is supposed to
  • I am told it will run off of other fuel sources like kerosene and ethanol but i have never tested it I have only used gasoline.
  • Spoke Wire wheels (much better ride quality than the wood spoke)
If your not used to driving a classic vintage car like this will take some getting used to has 4 pedals so not like your average car but that is all part of the experience of owning and driving a beautiful vehicle like this one. There are plenty of how to videos on you tube to give you a crash course in how to operate a car like this.  She is such a pleasure to take out on a weekend ride.  Me and my wife love taking it out to breakfast on Sundays in the summer time.

This car has not seen rain snow or anything but sunny warm weather since I have owned it.  The rest of time she is stored in my own little private "museum" I call it. Where I have a mechanic come to maintain all of my collection.

She is in unbelievable condition for a car that is nearing 100 years old! I welcome and encourage you to come see the car before placing your bid.  I also have about 150 pictures I could not post them all if there is anything else you would like to see just ask me.

IF YOU  HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL OR TEXT ME AT 248-747-2196

PICTURES:
Before you ask the wet spot under the car in the pictures is not from this car it was on the parking lot at the church where i went to take the pictures I didn't notice it until after i got back and looked at the pictures.

THE PICTURES BELOW WERE TAKEN BEFORE AND DURING THE RESTORATION. NOT HIDING ANYTHING SEE EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GETTING AND HOW MUCH WORK WENT INTO MAKING THE CAR WHAT SHE IS TODAY!

The car is sold As Is Where Is. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. If you need a ride for the airport please give me a call and let me know ahead of time when,so I can pick you up if needed. I do my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible and list everything I can think of, I am only human and I have quite a few cars so it is possible I missed something.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give me a call at 248-747-2196 with any questions you may have or to see the vehicle. If you are interested in purchasing it you are welcome and in fact I encourage you to come see the car before you place your bid. Vehicle is for sale locally seller reserves right to end auction early due to local sale other wise NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGHEST BIDDER WIN. Deposit must be made within 24 hours no exceptions, deposits are non refundable. Full payment must be made within 3 days unless prior arrangements have been made. If you have under 10 Feedback you must call me and let me know before you bid.

Remember its the one who bids HIGHEST who WINS not the one who bids last don't wait till the last minute and miss out! I have made that mistake before!

Ford auctioning off F-35-themed 2015 Mustang for charity

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Ford's been a supporter of EAA AirVenture, a huge, annual air show held in Oshkosh, WI, for several years now, with one of its most notable contributions being a modified Ford Mustang, designed to look like one of America's great fighting aircraft. There was an SR-71 Mustang, based on the legendary spy plane, a Red Tails edition, which honored the ground-breaking Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, as well as Blue Angels and Thunderbird Mustangs, based on America's two great military aerial demonstration teams.
Each car is auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the EAA Young Eagles program, which introduces kids to the joy of flight. For the 2014 AirVenture, which runs from July 28 to August 3, the one-off pony car is based on the new-for-2015 Mustang, and America's latest fighting aircraft - the controversial F-35 Lightning II.
The unique Mustang sports titanium paint scheme, with both glossy and matte sections, as well as yellow-and-blue trim and decal elements inspired by CF-1, the first F-35 test plane. A carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser add some visual eye candy, while the interior boasts a set of Recaro seats. Ford also opted to fit unique wheels and a brawnier rear spoiler, to tie everything together.

Our interview with Jeremy Clarkson and James May, plus SEMA! | Autoblog Podcast #491

Fri, Nov 4 2016

This week, David Gluckman and Mike Austin talk SEMA madness, mis-aligned steering wheels, wireless charging, McLarens (they're sports cars!), and decals. We also have an excerpt from a recent interview with James May and Jeremy Clarkson of The Grand Tour and Top Gear fame. As always, we talk about a variety of cars we've been driving and then respond to some questions from listeners. And as a bonus, there's a trivia question mixed in. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. Oh, and please send trivia questions! You'll get the honor of stumping your fellow listeners, and we'll thank you too. 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible makes inappropriate appearance in Detroit [w/video]

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

With the polar vortex fresh in the minds of Autoblog's Detroit-based staff, we're finding it funny that any manufacturer would choose January in the Motor City to show off a new and highly anticipated convertible to the general media and public for the first time. But Ford has done just that, giving us our first real peek at the new Mustang Convertible in the flesh.
The new Mustang Convertible is more or less unchanged from the standard coupe, with some subtle styling tweaks to accommodate the retractable soft top. Engine and transmission choices are identical to the hardtop, although we should expect slightly lower performance due to the hardware for the roof. Like the coupe, neither prices nor performance metrics have been published yet for the convertible.
Hop up top for our live gallery of images from the floor of the Detroit Auto Show.
