1924 Model T Runabout Parade Car With Wire Wheels 24 Ford on 2040-cars
Conway, Arkansas, United States
Let me start by saying that listing an item like this takes a considerable amount of time and effort. It is also not free. It costs money to list a car for sale on Ebay. This is not a hobby for us. This is how we eat and pay bills. So, if you can not pay for this car immediately then please do not damage our listing by agreeing to buy it.
A non refundable deposit must be made immediately and the balance must be paid in full within 3 days via a cashiers check sent FedEx, UPS Overnight Letter or USPS Express Mail. Bright, shiny and fun is how I would describe this stunning little 1924 Ford model T. I am selling this for a friend and he has owned it since the 70's. Here is your chance to be guaranteed a spot in the next parade or community event. This car never fails to draw a crowd when it is out and about. This is very unique color combination everyone that sees it falls in love with it. This 1924 Ford comes with 21 inch Buffalo Wheels, Overload Springs, Good Rubber, Water Pump to keep it cool and a good Transmission. It even has twin spare tires complete with those super nice wire Buffalo rims. It has a good current title and is ready to be yours. These cars are just plain fun and this is a chance to get into one that is ready to go. It runs like a top and all you have to do is hop in and go. My friend says he will even deliver it to you on an open trailer for a fee if you are within 500 miles of zip code 72034 for just 50 cents a mile plus $100. A deposit of $500 will need to be made through Paypal within 24 hours after you win the auction. Balance and arrangements to pick up or have the car delivered must be made within 7 days. This is a sweet little car and not your typical plane Jane black on black. If you have been waiting to find a cool toy to scoot around town in this is it. Good luck and happy bidding. |

Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.
You can find more information in the NHTSA bulletin posted below.
2015 Ford Mustang Convertible shown on Twitter [UPDATE w/video]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013It hasn't yet been 12 hours since the hotly anticipated 2015 Ford Mustang has been let out into public view. After a series of evocative leaks over the course of the last days, we brought you a full deep dive of the sixth-generation pony car at the dawning of today. And yet, here we are rushing to bring you news of a new Mustang variant, already.
Be it part of a plan to keep the Mustang fervor at full boil, or a misunderstood email somewhere in the chain of command, Ford UK has unceremoniously tweeted a picture of the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible. For a newly global Mustang, getting our first look at the droptop from the convertible-crazy British does make some amount of sense.
As for details, well, you're looking at them. Brandon Turkus reported yesterday that the Mustang 'vert would make use of a fully electric convertible mechanism, and that it would be of fabric construction rather than some kind of retractable hardtop. We see here that the fabric part is clearly true, and it does look as though Ford may still be employing the same kind of manually attached tonneau cover that exists right now. Of course, our view from this angle isn't great, and the particulars are still up in the air.
Ford forced to recall Escape over fire risk yet again
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Recalls happen. Automakers hope they won't, but they do. And that's alright, for the most part, because cars are designed (and to a large degree still made) by humans, and humans make mistakes. So we forgive them, as long as the problem is resolved. Only in the case of the Ford Escape, the problem seems to keep coming back.
That's why Ford is calling in the Escape yet again due to fire concerns. The issue revolves around problematic fuel lines in 9,469 units manufactured between October 5, 2011, and July 11, 2012, all of which use the 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine.
As you yourself may recall, the Escape was subject to a string of recalls last year that resulted in a $17 million fine. One of them was over this very same issue, which Ford apparently didn't rectify the first time around. Let's hope this time is the last time.
