Here is a late 1922 Ford Model T Roadster Converted Pickup Truck. One of the nicest you will find.
It just had a ground up restoration (3 yr. project). Two new tires tubes and flaps; kelver band linings; exhaust manifold; flywheel ring gear; gas sediment bowl; starter drive; ignition switch; Anderson timer; wires and plugs; battery; carburetor; seat and back springs; door kick panel set; new top and upholstery and too many more items to mention. This vehicle has a 2 speed universal transmission and the standard high gear and has 3 speeds in reverse. Gear ratio is about the same as a Model A. No 'Chug-Chug' when you put it in high gear. It goes through the gears very smoothly. There is a big difference with the universal transmission, you will think you are driving a Model A. No smoke from engine. Runs great. All original sheet metal. Paint work is primer; sealer; base coat and clear coat. A few imperfections in paint. A few imperfections in the sheet metal, after all she is 90 years old. No guarantees-sold as is. Buyer responsible for pick-up arrangements or shipping.
On Jul-08-13 at 08:53:09 PDT, seller added the following information:
Pickup box was made from solid red oak and finished with 6 coats of high gloss ultra-violet marine varnish from Holland and hand sanded between each coat. Bed of box is made from oak plywood.

Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? [w/video]
Fri, 16 May 2014When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.
Ford is building this sweet back-to-basics SUV in Brazil
Mon, 02 Jun 2014We're use to forbidden fruit teasing us in Europe. Hatchbacks and diesels from Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT and Alfa Romeo have been a regular torment that we've grown accustomed to over the years. This vehicle, though, is one piece of forbidden fruit we aren't entirely sure we can get over. We need it.
It's called the Ford Troller T4, and if you accidentally read that as either "reborn Ford Bronco" or "Americanized Land Rover Defender," we wouldn't be rushing to correct you. It's a basic, badass SUV, and is the first new vehicle to come from Troller since Ford gobbled it up in 2007. For those with longer memories, you'll recognize this vehicle from the concept that preceded it, the Ford T-R Concept. The production model remains remarkably true to the T-R, as well as past Trollers, but it's a slightly more modern look overall, with LED taillights, contrasting colors
You'll have to bear with us on the details, as we've been forced to rely on the notoriously literal Google Translate to convert the original Portuguese into English, which means some of the details were lost along the way.
Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile
Wed, 27 Mar 2013We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.
