Freshly restored 1915 Model T Roadster. Has all the brass and mostly correct parts. A rear axle housings are from a newer "T" but I have replacement housings that will go with the car. Has a newer carburator for better performance but I have the brass Kingston also. Car had a full nuts and bolts restoration completed last June. I trailered it to one show and won 1st place. Car has been driven 2 miles since restoration. New tires, fenders, and splash aprons. NOS running boards, new seats and floor mat , plugs, rear view mirrors. Very solid original body with good wood. Paint is base/clear with stripping. Will start on mag or battery. Battery is in running board tool box. Car often starts on compression. As I mentioned there is a leak between the transmission cover and pan, I think it is because of the Aluminum cover. I have an iron cover to replace it with that will go with the car. I wanted the original cover so I lived with the leak. Kevlar bands, all is as it should be. I have the complete tool kit as well. Why am I selling? I grew up with these cars as my Dad was an avid collector. When he past away a few years back I decided I would get one for restoration just for the memories. I have several other classic cars and no time for the "T". Wanted to do it as part of my "bucket list" and now time to move on. Great little car that I want to go to a person who will use it and show it. My reserve is quite low for this car so bid to win.
On Mar-18-14 at 16:22:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I noticed the photo showing the floor mat was taken prior to the seats and door/kick panel installation. They are new. Also. the build date stamping is on the wood seat base. |

New Ford Police Interceptor tech protects cops' backsides
Mon, 22 Jul 2013It was only a matter of time before law enforcement agencies would realize the potential of driver-assist technology for use in their Ford Police Interceptors, and, now that they have, those back-up cameras and radar systems won't be used just for parking, but for security, as well.
The surveillance mode system works when the camera or radar detects movement from behind the vehicle, and if it does when it's activated, an alarm will alert the officer inside the car, the driver's side window will roll up and the doors will lock, protecting the officer from an unwanted intrusion. The officer, of course, has the option to turn surveillance mode off, mainly in urban areas where pedestrians would constantly set the alarm off, and it can only be activated when the police car is in park.
Randy Freiburger, Ford's police and ambulance fleet supervisor, came up with the patent-pending idea when researching the needs of police officers and riding along with them, during which time he realized officers would be safer with an extra set of eyes watching the area behind their cars, especially at night or when they're completing paperwork, using the in-car computer or handling a radar gun. "Unfortunately, there are people with bad intentions who sneak up on police officers," he says.

According to Edmunds, which has tracked the best-selling vehicles by state based on new vehicle registrations, 40 out of 50 U.S. states’ best-selling vehicle is a pickup. Most often, thatÂ’s the Ford F-Series, but occasional Chevy, Ram and even Toyota top the lists. Here, weÂ’ve compiled the best-selling vehicles by state, including the four runners-up for each state. Interestingly enough, only one EV shows up in a stateÂ’s top five (Tesla Model 3 in California). Read on below to see whatÂ’s most popular in your state.
