This coupe was traded in on a recently completed 1957 fairlane. It has 32k miles on a 14 year old build. The following is what has been completed recently to bring the coupe up to date.

New PRO chrome front shocks, front splash apron, Edelebrock 3 deuce intake with 3 fresh rochester carbs (all function), New tilt steering column, 40 ford deluxe steering wheel, New Lokar 23" floor shifter, all new heat shield through out the car, new interior, new custom flame paint on headliner, 18 gallon fuel tank, Completly refurbished trunk, new steel trunk lid with gas shocks, electric trunk lock, 1950 Pontiac tail lights, rear roll pan, Completely rewired the car.

The car has a complete Pete & Jakes suspension installed buy a professional and very reputable builder. Ken Stek of Stek Lo Rodz shop.

The car handles and drives excellent, It has a 1962 283 ci with a power glide transmission both function excellent. For an older buid the car ranks up there with todays standards.

It is equiped with manual front disc brakes a rear drum. It has power windows and winshield wiper. i do have a cd player for the car. Includes matching trailer with hitch. I can sell with or with out the trailer.

While i had the car on the lift i replaced the body pads with new rubber, new fuel line, and new exhaust. This car is clean underneath no issues. The coker tires have about 10k miles on them there half or better on the tread. It has an MSD ignition with a new MSD distributer.

The fire wall was smoothed up and painted metalic gray. There is a nice hood that goes with the car but no side panels. The car is all steel except for the fenders. If you want steel fenders its an additional 3k. Theres probably something i'm missing in the description but basically its a turn key Hot Rod ready to go, i have put about 500 miles on it over the last couple weeks and its a joy to drive. Both doors shut great and remain that way going down the road. I own a hot rod shop and buy and sell cars along with doing complete restorations so I do except trades of vintage autos let me know what you have. I do reserve the right to end the auction early so bid with cofidence and bid to own a very nice 31 coupe. Call  Craig at 641-660-9837 with your questions. Dig's Rod Shop

Transit Courier completes Ford's new commercial van line, will we get it?

Sat, 13 Apr 2013

This week Ford rolled out the 2014 Transit Courier, the fourth addition to its Transit range. Ford says its the first time for the nameplate in the compact van segment.
"Ford has now completely transformed its commercial vehicle line-up, with four all-new, class-leading Transits for European customers," said Barb Samardzich, vice president of product development for Ford Europe. "With the all-new Transit range, we expect sales to grow to 400,000 units per year by 2016, well over 50 percent more than we sell today."
When the Courier goes on sale in the Spring of 2014, it will offer more than 1,400 pounds of payload capacity, multiple mounting points for racks or other framework and a rear cargo area that can carry items 5.3 feet-long. An optional folding passenger seat boosts the cargo length to 8.5 feet.

We spy the Ford Mustang King Cobra early at SEMA

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

As is the case with most auto shows, waiting for the reveal of hot new models is the worst part. So, while our own Drew Phillips has been wandering the halls here in Las Vegas since they unlocked the doors for SEMA 2014, we didn't expect him to come back with any big reveals until later in the day. Until this happened.
Meandering by the Ford stand, Phillips eagle-eyed a trunk lid that caught his attention. Popping out from an otherwise draped 2015 Mustang, the matte black lid clearly has the name King Cobra embossed on the rear.
That name is interesting for a few reasons: to start, Ford hasn't used the Cobra name (without "Jet" attached) since way back in 2004, so a new snake is certainly something to take note of. Second, the King Cobra name dates all the way back to the ill-remembered Mustang II, meaning there is a clear link to Blue Oval history here.
