1931 Model A Ford Slant window sedan called ANABEL this car was bought in Maine and has been their all of it's life and owned by the original family untill a few years ago when it was bought and transported here to California. This car is original and has never been restored, mileage is unknow, decals have fallen off the speedometor, still has the original ulpholstrey but has been repainted somewhere along the line. Engine as been rebulit a few years back and runs fantatic and looks great, very strong runner and will do 55 to 60 mph quite smooth for a stock motor, would not think twice about a very long trip with this car,has upgraded modern style points and has new bushings and shaft in distributor. Has a very good radiator with leakless new style waterpump, has a original accessories era Boyce motometer cap and also has a Rex-A-Co oil pressure guage, and the most fantastic original Mansfeld-Wiz clock/ rearview mirror and still works,a very rare accessory. This car drive quite well and engine performance is has good has you can get with a stock motor and runs very cool. This car has many many flaws but from a distance is all fades away, this is not a show car but you will get more attention and questions then any retstored Model A car, this car is a magnet to all folks and specially Model A people who want to see a original car,the saying is true their only original once and any body can have a restored car. Hoping this car will go to someone who will keep it original and preserve it or do a first class retoration on it. This car has many rattles dents flawed paint needs a new top and interior has many flaws,no headliner holes in seats where varmets made a home and had lunch but still is a neat car with lots of charm. ANABEL does not have a pink slip becasue in Maine a car over a certain age did not require one,it would be easy to get one with a inspection of the car and from the DMV from you state, the car was last licienced in 1982 and has a Maine sticker on the windshild from 1988. Please see pictures for details of ANABEL and call or email if any questions (209) 969-1799 Ask for Gary

Ford nets $5.7B in 2012, $1.6B in fourth quarter
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Ford brought in $5.7 billion in net income during 2012, which is around $307 million less than one year prior. Even so, the automaker closed out 2012 with the highest pre-tax profit for a single quarter in nearly 10 years, earning $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter thanks largely to a higher-than-average truck mix in the US. That's a jump of $577 million over 2011. Likewise, that translated into fourth quarter income of $1.6 billion. All told, Ford set a full-year pre-tax profit record in 2012. But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is rosy in the land of the Blue Oval.
Like every other manufacturer, 2012 saw Ford get hammered in the European Union, where a deep economic recession continues to drive down consumer confidence. The automaker lost more than $700 million in Europe, and saw full revenue of $26.6 billion in 2012. That's a decline of $7.2 billion compared to last yea. Ford says the market for new vehicles in Europe has contracted to 13.5 million units, the lowest number in 17 years. You can read the full press release below for more information.
2015 Ford Expedition
Mon, 21 Jul 2014While the tide of bigger-is-better SUVs has been in recession since, well, the recession, fullsize utes are still very much with us. Conservative creatures that have been loathe to evolve, fullsize SUVs nonetheless remain enduringly popular among large families, livery customers, and anyone with lots of friends, relatives, and toys to tug around. With respect to Toyota and Nissan, the only players that really matter in the segment are the new-for-2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, the GMC Yukon/Yukon XL, and this truck: the Ford Expedition, the latest evolution of which we just drove for the first time at a press preview in West Virginia.
Unlike the General Motors utilities, the standard Expedition and the long-wheelbase Expedition EL are not all-new, but rather are heavily refreshed versions of the same basic truck Ford started selling way back in 2007. The front fascia is where most of the exterior update happens for 2015, with a new three-bar grille design, halogen projector headlamps, and new bumper design with available LED foglamps. Despite all the new bits, the facelift breaks exactly zero ground in terms of design; in fact, it already looks dated, and will only look older once the macho 2015 F-150 bows later this year. Even less has changed out back, where the tailgate gets a wide chrome band spanning the taillamps and a new chrome exhaust tip. Other exterior changes are generally limited to colors and an all-new wheel lineup that includes a gleaming set of six-spoke 22-inch polished wheels on high-end models.
Speaking of high-end models, a new Platinum trim is positioned above the cowboy-spec King Ranch model for 2015. Both the Platinum and King Ranch get their own color combos and exterior trim finishes (satin metal for the Platinum, chrome everywhere and ginormous badges for the King Ranch) and posh, leather-lined interiors with their own aesthetic. The Expedition family also now includes a price-leading XL model, as well as XLT and Limited grades.
Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow
Wed, Mar 16 2016Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
