So this is my 1930 Model A project. Its pretty far along in the mock up stage and doesnt need alot before its ready for finishing. I bought the car in virginia as a running barn find and chopped it up. The top is chopped 4.5" and needs finish welded. the passenger door has had a new bottom installed. Both cowl bottoms, wheel tubs and body rails have been replaced. the cowl tank has been cut out and the roof was filled before i got the car. The car needs the floors and the firewall completed. A steering column needs to be added and its ready to brake down and finish. the frame has been boxed and kicked up in the rear. The front end is all new superbell drilled and 4"dropped. There are new king pins, spindles, rotors, caliper brackets, steering arms, spring, shackles, drag link, vega box, pitman arm and hair pins. The rear is a 9" from a versalis and is 28 spline open with 331 gears. i have some of the rear disc brake parts but not all of them. The rear suspension is a pete and jakes ladder bar with panhard bar and coil overs. The motor is a 283 that ran a few years back but needs rebuild, the tunnel ram and sanderson headers are included. The trans is a good low mile 350 turbo. there are new guide 182 replica headlights and the car comes with the hood and sides. I have a seat from a dodge mini van that comes with it. The wheels and tires are new boyds and are halibrand replicas, they are dirty but have not seen the road. What you see is what you get so ask questions up front. The car obviously needs work but i feel the hardest part is done.
I will look at possible trades but be realistic, i dont want your low value junk!
The car needs to be picked up and all arrangements made by new owner. obviously its a project so once you buy it you own it there are no guarantees. I need $500.00 down within 24 hours and the rest paid in cash within a week.

Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
Ford Fiesta ST customs get wild at SEMA
Tue, 05 Nov 2013The massive 57-car SEMA showcase by Ford ranges from obvious aftermarket-friendly models like the Mustang, to the not so obvious ones, like the Transit Connect and cute-as-an-explosive-button Fiesta ST. Ford plucked several Fiesta STs for SEMA duty, and we were on the show floor today to get a closer look at some of them.
First up is the striking COBB Tuning and Tanner Foust Racing Fiesta ST (above) finished in a black-and-gray digital camouflage, much like that used in the military, and is meant to raise awareness for the Pat Tillman Foundation. COBB also fitted a three-inch exhaust and a cold-air intake. A new shift knob, carbon-fiber hood and a Kicker stereo round out the mix of upgrades.
MRT got its hands on a Fiesta ST and created a car inspired by Forza Motorsport 5 (below, left). Featuring a two-tone paint job and more performance upgrades than you can shake a stick at, this Fiesta ST is one of the cooler compacts at Ford's stand. A high-performance exhaust system, along with a complimentary COBB induction system, allows the ST to breathe better, while an H&R coil over suspension and Steeda brakes help it stop and turn better than stock.
FL man fatally shot after urging driver not to do donuts in a Mustang
Tue, 18 Nov 2014Bradley Holt (pictured), the older half-brother of University of South Florida freshman quarterback Quinton Flowers, was killed in a random act of violence last week.
The 24-year-old Holt was throwing a football around with local kids in Allapattah, a neighborhood in Miami, when a yellow Mustang showed up and started doing donuts in the street. Holt, worried about kids playing in front his apartment complex, walked over to the driver and asked him why he was "driving so crazy with so many kids out here?"
The driver left. Holt's sister said the driver came back "about 15 to 20 minutes later" and fired two shots at Holt. One of them hit Holt in the back of the head, killing him.
