For over 60 years I have been selling Fords and other great motorcars from this same location. The 1930 Model A was redesigned in many ways from it predecessor as Chrysler and Chevrolet were beginning to compete in the low priced market. The improved 4 cylinder engine along with the lower center of gravity allowed Ford to advertise that the Model A could go 55 to 65 miles per hour. Some of the other changes were; Triplex shatter-proof windshield, Houdaille hydraulic shock absorbers, smaller wheels, 4 wheel brakes, 3 speed forward manual transmission with clutch and a water pump to cool the engine, just to mention a few. This particular motorcar we took in trade for a vintage Mercedes. The gentleman who owned it was an engineer and a talented mechanic who kept the motor in excellent condition. He restored this car some years ago but he left a few small parts of the interior in original condition. It is mechanically and cosmetically in extraordinary condition with no rust. This is a great classic of the early Ford Motor Company and can only increase in value over time and will provide you and your family with endless pride of ownership.

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a track-day weapon with 500 hp

Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.

Volvo to shake off Ford ties with new platforms, engines

It would seem Volvo is finally getting around to throwing all of Ford's things out of the apartment. Automotive News reports the Swedish automaker is preparing to unleash a range of new engines as well as a fresh platform designed entirely in house. The powerplants include an all-new four-cylinder engine set to bow before the end of this year before arriving in the US by 2014. Shortly thereafter, the world should get its first glimpse at the next-generation XC60, which will the company's first model to make use of the Volvo scalable platform architecture (SPA). US buyers can expect to see that machine on their roads by early 2015.
The next V70 and S80 will also use the SPA, though those models will carry V90 and S90 designations when they hit dealer floors. But that doesn't mean Volvo has completely weened itself off of Ford technology. The V40 will continue to ride on Ford bones until the model's next chassis can be co-developed between Volvo and Geely.

Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept

Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."
