Rochester, New Hampshire, United States

1930 Ford "A" Coupe Old School 50's era Hot Rod, built in the "home of hot-roding"

Original 3 owner So. California car- before complete frame up restoration- all steel no patch panels, matching numbers.  Well documented restoration, this car was restored in the late 1990's and over $40k was invested.  This automobile has been very well cared for since the frame up restoration, has less then 1500 on the restoration.  This car took 2 years to build by Tom Lewis and his son up in Whittier CA.  No expense spared on this restoration.

Sheet metal is beautiful, no patch panels, paint is gorgeous, pictures don't do this car justice.  Over $17k was spent on the paint.

Frame and engine numbers match.  Motor has been highly modified and was built by Vermeil's Engines of Santa Rosa CA.  Fully pressurized oil system, big oil pump, Winfield head, Riley dual port intake with Stromberg 81's, Mallory dual point ignition, 12 volt alternator, insert bearings, aluminum pistons/ rods.  Custom exhaust header that was powder coated.  40 Ford transmission with HD racing clutch, 48 Ford hydraulic brake system, 40 Ford steering box with vintage Bell steering wheel, 2 1/2" dropped front axle with tube shocks and new springs, 16" powder coated Kelsey wheels, 32 Ford gas tank, 32 Ford dash with antique Stewart-Warner gauges, Halogen headlights and taillight bulbs.

Frame, windshield, and oil pan powder coated.  Lebaron-Bonny Interior professionally installed .

Photo album documents entire restoration.  An additional binder also includes an expense log, typed notes, phone numbers and names of all different people/ business that worked on the car or where the parts were purchased.  Binder also includes many installation instruction (i.e. Mallory ignition installation instructions, fuel pressure regulator instructions, gauge instructions, paint codes, etc).  Also includes story of the builder and all the people who have owned the car since it was restored.

This car can be seen in Rochester NH.  This car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right the end this auction at anytime.  I really don't care if I sell this car or not, will consider trade for an early flathead V8 Ford, nice restored Model A, or original Model A and cash.  It is very difficult to find such well documented automobiles that have received such a detailed restoration.  Don't miss out on your chance to own this beautiful piece of history.

Drive Ford's new Mustang in Need For Speed Rivals

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

If waiting for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang to hit dealerships is just too tall of an order, you'll be happy to hear that there is now an alternative means of getting behind the wheel of America's favorite pony car. The Mustang is making its video game debut in Need For Speed Rivals.
"We worked closely with the development team at EA to provide them with engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before we showed it to the rest of the world," said Ford product licensing manager Mark Bentley. "Computer design models enabled the game developers to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang before it goes on sale."
Players will have access to five unique designs for the Mustang, allowing a degree of individuality beyond solid colors and decals. According to Digital Marketing Manager Andrea Zuehlk of Ford, those designs are drawn from the four most popular designs on the Mustang Customizer, an online, mobile and tablet app that allows the public to design their own custom Mustang. A fifth design, penned by drift racer Vaughn Gittin, Jr., is also available.

Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.

2015 Ford Mustang gets pricing, configurator and less weight than expected

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

It's here; it's finally here. No more speculating or looking at dealer order guides, the configurator for the 2015 Ford Mustang is finally online. That means you should put down whatever you're doing and build your new 'Stang. Weight data for the new model has also leaked out, and while there is an increase, it's less than previously rumored.
The basic V6 coupe carries a base price of $23,600, plus an additional $825 destination charge for all models. Upgrading to the 2.3-liter Ecoboost costs $25,170, and the Ecoboost Premium is $29,170. If you need a V8 in your life, the Mustang GT is $32,100 or $36,100 with the Premium package. That puts the starting price up about $1,000 over the previous generation for the V6, but the turbocharged four-cylinder starts about $1,400 less than the V6 Premium, which is no longer available. Prices for both V8 models jumped about $1,000, as well.
If you need the convertible Mustang, the V6 starts at $29,100, excluding destination, $1,590 more than last year. The Ecoboost Premium 'vert is $34,670, and the GT droptop is $41,600.
