Get a great deal on a cool Hot Rod and finish my project.

Body: Old dirt track car from the 70s, Model A cowl Connected to an unknown back half. It looks really cool, by no means a show car but it is a really neat twist on a bucket. It is brush painted and looks pretty cool, it's all been buffed and wet sanded. Firewall needs some work, but otherwise a cool body.

Chassis: 2x3 fabricated frame, simple but well built. Quarter elliptical front and rear. Rear is 8" Ford with triangulated upper bars. New Poly gas tank (spun aluminum style). New battery, completely wired car. Motor will crank right up.
Front has a Ford axle, Radius rods and Speedway disc kit. New kingpins, steering linkage, etc. Steering is side steer using a VW bus box.

Drive train: 250/Powerglide. Motor was rebuilt and driven in my Nova for appx 4k miles until put in this car. Professionally rebuilt in Spokane, WA. New alternator, regulator, aluminum radiator. Re-sealed the motor w/seals a couple weeks ago.

Needs to finish: Master cylinder and hard lines routed, drag link, floors, steering wheel, windshield, seats, shifter.

All parts are new, this car seriously needs a weekends worth of work and you'll have a really unique hot rod that will turn heads everywhere.

Finish this and save your self a ton of money! Below is what you'll need to finish the car. Summer is almost here and this car is going to be a blast to drive!  One last thing, this is bill of sale only. In NM pretty straight forward process to get a VIN/title on a fabricated chassis, they usually just do a quick inspection and I can help out with that part of it.

I will ship for free within 200 miles of Albuquerque, NM or deliver or assist with shipping in any way that I can. Feel free to email with any questions, I will be working away from my computer for the next week, but will be checking emails throughout the week. Thanks.

GMC Hummer EV SUV first drive, RIP Camaro, Ferrari Roma Spider | Autoblog Podcast # 773

Fri, Mar 24 2023

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by News Editor Joel Stocksdale. They start off with one of the week's biggest official news items — the impending death of the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro. On the subject of powerful American cars, they pivot to a teaser from Stellantis execs that there are big things ahead for its Dodge Charger SRT Daytona Banshee concept. From there, they look at Ferrari's new topless Roma and then get into Ford's multi-billion-dollar electric vehicle pivot. Speaking of expensive EVs, Joel just got back from driving the new GMC Hummer SUV. He also had the new F-150 Lightning Pro in his driveway, and that's followed by Greg's update on Autoblog's long-term Toyota Sienna.  Autoblog Podcast # 773 Get The Podcast Apple Podcasts – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes Spotify – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast on Spotify RSS – Add the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator MP3 – Download the MP3 directly Rundown News Chevrolet Camaro production will officially end after 2024 model year Dodge CEO teases more to come from Charger SRT Daytona Banshee Ferrari Roma Spider returns a front-engined soft top to the lineup Ford Model e losing billions as it says EV unit should be seen as startup What we're driving Ford F-150 Lightning Pro 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV 2023 Toyota Sienna Platinum AWD Feedback Email – Podcast@Autoblog.com Review the show on Apple Podcasts Autoblog is now live on your smart speakers and voice assistants with the audio Autoblog Daily Digest. Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen

Tue, Jan 19 2016

Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:

Ford Escort is ready to focus on the Chinese market

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Ford officially revived the Escort name in China, showing of the new, four-door compact at the Beijing Motor Show. Painted in a stylish brown-bronze, the new sedan wears a number of global Ford styling cues while sharing its platform with the Ford Focus.
Power for the new model comes from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, although Ford doesn't specify just how much power is on offer, simply saying that the fuel economy of the new mill will be "outstanding." It's unclear what transmission will be distributing the engine's power, although based on the images we've seen, the Escort will definitely offer a two-pedal setup.
The layout of the cabin is fairly clean, although as we mentioned in our initial post on the new Escort, it's a decidedly sparser environment than we've grown use to in US-spec Fords of late. If anything, it's like a weird blend of current Ford switchgear with an overall look that reminds us of older Ford layouts. Still, it looks like a comfortable way of moving five people about without too much fuss. There's ample space both front and rear, and a rather spacious trunk.
