It has a Walker Aluminum Radiator with an Electric Fan to keep this baby running cool. It has a built 350 Turbo Transmission with a Transmission Cooler. It has a TCI Suspension with a Superbell Drop Axle Frontend. It has a Chevy 10 bolt rear with Coilover Shocks. The Aluminum Gas Tank is in the bed of the truck. The bed is a wood bed with a rubber mat laid over it. The front bumper is new. It has disc brakes on the front. It has red wire wheels with 175 SR 14 Perrilli tires and the back tires are 10 R 15LT BF Goodrich. The interior is nice with a nice red bench seat with new Auto Meter Gauges, B&M Floor Shifter, Aftermarket Blinkers, New Steering Wheel and looks like a new wiper motor. The front Windshield still lets out at the bottom. This is a super little truck with NO RUST anywhere that I have seen. I am 6ft and 230lbs and fit ok in it.
I reserve the right to end auction early if this truck sell locally. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre sale inspections are encouraged so you will know exactly what you are getting. I have explained to the best of my knowledge but may have over looked something so if you have any questions please ask. This truck is in amazing condition. The writing on the doors are painted on. All glass is good and door glass roll up and down. It has a clear Tennessee Title. |

Ford fights back against patent trolls
Fri, Feb 13 2015Some people are just awful. Some organizations are just as awful. And when those people join those organizations, we get stories like this one, where Ford has spent the past several years combatting so-called patent trolls. According to Automotive News, these malicious organizations have filed over a dozen lawsuits against the company since 2012. They work by purchasing patents, only to later accuse companies of misusing intellectual property, despite the fact that the so-called patent assertion companies never actually, you know, do anything with said intellectual property. AN reports that both Hyundai and Toyota have been victimized by these companies, with the former forced to pay $11.5 million to a company called Clear With Computers. Toyota, meanwhile, settled with Paice LLC, over its hybrid tech. The world's largest automaker agreed to pay $5 million, on top of $98 for every hybrid it sold (if the terms of the deal included each of the roughly 1.5 million hybrids Toyota sold since 2000, the company would have owed $147 million). Including the previous couple of examples, AN reports 107 suits were filed against automakers last year alone. But Ford is taking action to prevent further troubles... kind of. The company has signed on with a firm called RPX, in what sounds strangely like a protection racket. Automakers like Ford pay RPX around $1.5 million each year for access to its catalog of patents, which it spent nearly $1 billion building. "We take the protection and licensing of patented innovations very seriously," Ford told AN via email. "And as many smart businesses are doing, we are taking proactive steps to protect against those seeking patent infringement litigation." What are your thoughts on this? Should this patent business be better managed? Is it reasonable that companies purchase patents only to file suit against the companies that build actual products? Have your say in Comments.
Ford hiring 2,200 salaried US workers this year
Fri, 11 Jan 2013With its influx of popular new products made in the US, Ford Motor Company has announced that it intends to hire 2,200 new salaried workers domestically this year. This is the biggest increase of salaried workers for Ford in the last 10 years, and it is all a part of Ford's contract commitment to the United Auto Workers union to bring 12,000 new jobs to the US by 2015.
There were no specifics as to where in the US these job openings will be, but Ford did reiterate that it will be spending $773 million on equipment upgrades and capacity expansion at six plants located in southeast Michigan; as a whole, Ford is investing a total of $6.2 billion to its US assembly plants over the next couple years. According to recently appointed president of the Americas Joe Hinrichs, the new jobs will be focused on areas such as engineering, manufacturing and computer software. Ford will post its job openings online at careers.ford.com, and it will also use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to recruit new workers, including military veterans.

2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.
