Welcome to our listing for this Awesome, Low Mileage 1928 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster. This roadster has had only 2,981 miles put on it since completed. It features a 1932 grille shell and headlights, custom hand painted pin-striping, and American Racing 5-Spoke wheels. It is powered by a Chevrolet 350 cu in engine and a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.

This Hi-Boy is priced well below the cost of just the parts to build and it is ready to drive and enjoy this summer. It features a fiberglass body with no body flaws. The paint is Brite Red and is extremely nice other than a few minor chips. The only thing you could complain about is the fitment of the doors (open and close easily) mostly on the passenger side (see pic), otherwise this Roadster looks GREAT! This Hi-Boy has just enough chrome in the engine compartment to make it stand out without being intrusive or a maintenance freak.

We just added the hand painted tu-tone pinstriping you see on the grille shell, taillights, and trunk, this gives the roadster a fantastic look. The American Racing 5-Spoke Aluninum Alloy wheels are in perfect condition and the Wide White Wall tires are practially new and complete the Hot-Rod theme!

This Hi-Boy Roadster runs and drives great and is sure to be a lot of fun "CRUISING"  this summer! This one is priced to sell fast so "Buy-It-Now" or make your "Best Offer" early. This 1928 Hi-Boy Roadster is "For Sale" locally and we reserve the right to end the listing at any time.

Everything on the Hi-Boy Roadster works the way it should. The engine runs perfectly, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the brakes stop the roadster properly. No worries here. It even has tilt steering for easier entry into the Hi-Boy. The aluninum gas tank and battery are trunk located (see pic), convient and out of harms way with room for a beverage cooler and a couple lawn chair for those cruise nites.

The title on the 1928 Ford Hi-Boy roadster reads as follows. Year: 1999 assembled - Body Style: 2 dr Roadster - Model 1928 Ford Model A - VIN: AZ203835. This is a clean and clear Nebraska title.

You know you have been thinking about a Hot Rod just like this and were expecting to spend a lot of money or a lot of time building with no time to enjoy the summer season driving. Here is you chance to just spend your time cruising the boulevard, sunglasses in place with wind blowing in your hair without emptying your wallet or getting grease on your hands! This Hi-Boy is RED and READY to go! What are you waiting for? Look on E-Bay Motors and you will find this is probably the Best Deal Out There!

Man turns Ford Fiesta into a one-car band

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The one-man band is a rather ridiculous idea, drawing up images of one person attempting to manipulate several instruments, at once, in a vain attempt at creating music. It's usually represented by silly scenes like this. Interestingly, the concept isn't much more successful when the "man" in "one-man band" is replaced with "car," as we see in this video.
It seems that someone rigged up and edited (699 times, we might add) a Ford Fiesta, a bucket, 12 PVC pipes and the natural sounds that a car makes to come up with a song. Now, we don't recognize the tune, so we've no idea if this is a cover or an original piece. And while it's hardly Beethoven, we have to admire the amount of effort the "conductor" went to in his attempt to turn a subcompact car into a musical instrument(s). Take a look (or listen) below for the entire video.

Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.

2018 Ford Expedition spied looking stylish

Tue, Sep 6 2016

The Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator got a cool reception for their 2015 warmed-over redesign. But with big, high-riding vehicles once again in vogue, Ford is pushing ahead with a ground-up redesign of its biggest SUVs. Based on these spy shots, the Expedition will continue to serve as the Navigator's more affordable twin. Yes, that's a bold prediction, considering we still haven't spotted Lincoln testing the new Navigator, but study the greenhouses on this Expedition prototype and the Navigator Concept from New York – from the arrow-straight belt line to the extra-long rear window to the aggressively raked windshield, this Expedition's overall profile is broadly similar to what Lincoln previewed earlier this year. While our spies claim the new Expedition will look to the F-150 for design inspiration, we see a departure from past Expedition tradition. Unlike the supposed Expedition spy shots we showed you nearly a year ago – which was nothing more than an SUV with an F-150's nose grafted on, this prototype's front-end styling looks softer and more aerodynamic, with a smaller grille and headlights, almost like an Escape or Edge. This kind of change would explain the additional front-end camouflage. In back, our spies rightly point out that Ford fitted a faux rear end to disguise the rear window's rake – expect the real thing to feature the angled rear window previewed on the Navigator Concept. Look at the last image in the gallery for a better idea of how the Expedition's rear window will actually look. We can't say a lot about the taillights, because of the camo, but non-LED taillights are present. We'd expect Ford to offer LEDs on higher trim levels. While the F-150's styling might not make the transition to the Expedition, its powertrains and emphasis on lightweight aluminum will. Our spies report the biggest SUV will ride on a new T3 platform and feature an aluminum body, with the F-150's 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Expect a ten-speed automatic transmission and start/stop tech for sure, while the smaller 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 could slot in as the Expedition's base engine – we're less sure on that one. And we're even more uncertain of the rumors of an Expedition Hybrid. Our spies report it could mate a 3.5-liter V6 with an electric motor(s) and battery packs for a more economical full-size SUV. Expect to see the 2018 Expedition debut in January, at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show.
