Florida! Convertible! A/c! Runs Excellent! Great Buy! on 2040-cars
Ormond Beach, Florida, United States
You are looking at a really nice Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible that is a great driver. This car is not a first place show winner at the local Ford show but you certainly won't be dead last. This is not a rusty car. Real solid underneath. Floors, trunk etc are really solid. The exterior from 10 feet away looks like brand new but as you get closer there are some imperfections. Couple spot of blistering paint. See the pictures. All the chrome is intact but does have some pitting. Not rotted. The interior is not in bad shape at all and is probably all original. The interior shows very well as you can see in the pictures. The rugs and seats are in really good shape. The interior is nothing to be embarrassed with. This cars strong suit is the way that it runs. It hits the road excellent! Strong engine and transmission shifts perfect. The A/C blows ice cold. All the interior and door lights work. The top is in great shape and works perfectly. It does have the boot. We also have all the shop manuals. This is probably a older restoration that could use a freshening up and you would have a really nice car!! This car turns every head going the the road. Great buy for someone!! Feel free to call us at 1 386 295 3886 or 295 3301 and we will try to answer all of your questions. Thanks and Good Luck!!

Barrett-Jackson 2014: First production 2015 Ford Mustang earns $300k for JDRF [w/video]
Sat, 18 Jan 2014We've almost become immune to the huge dollar amounts that collectible cars earn for charity at Barrett-Jackson. To wit, $300,000 for the first production 2015 Ford Mustang initially didn't seem like very much money. In reality, though, it's probably about 10 times the actual asking price for the car, and we're pleased to report that 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
According to Ford, the car's winning bidder will get to "choose a fastback with manual or automatic transmission, and any interior, exterior and stripe color combination offered by Ford on the all-new Mustang." Power will come from a slightly revised version of the well-known 5.0-liter V8 engine that will produce "more than 420hp and 396 pound-feet of torque."
We snapped live images of the 2015 Mustang prototype that Ford had on display here at Barrett-Jackson, and you can check them out above. The official auction description, along with a video of the auction as it happened live, is below.

2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes
Tue, 23 Apr 2013We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
