For sale is a 1969 Ford XL special ordered with the optional 390 big block. This car is a nice starting point and isn't hiding anything. It has minor rust spots which are pictured. The worst is being the trunklid inner shell. I beleive it was replaced and the passenger quarter was fixed. Besides those two things being said, it still looks to be original paint everywhere else. What you see is what you get, this is not a bondo or primer bomb. The front floor pans have a small spot on each side which are pictured and everything else is absolutely perfect. The trunk pan is solid, the frame is nice and solid everywhere. The brakes work good too!!! They were all bled and cleaned. Did plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, flushed tank and fuel system. It starts right up and purrs. It does need manifold and exhaust work. It has an idelbrock carb and intake. missing the AC compressor, but all complete otherwise. I do not have the original wheels and the carpet was trashed. The floors are all there for you to see, no dissapointments. All glass is in the car, no missing windows. This is a nice car to do your way. Has not been butchered and wont take too much to find the original parts to make it factory correct if thats the way your looking to go with it. 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition says 'happy birthday' in New York
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Fifty years ago this week, Ford debuted the first-ever Mustang at the New York World's Fair. And to celebrate, the Blue Oval is offering up this special, 50th Anniversary Edition 2015 Mustang, which makes its debut at the New York Auto Show. It'll be a seriously limited affair, with only 1,964 examples of the special edition Mustang slated to be produced (the number chosen to coincide with the 'Stang's first year in production). But for those who raise their hands for the 50th Anniversary package, there's a pretty sweet package in store.
The 50th Anniversary Edition is based on the 2015 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack, and is only available in two colors: Kona Blue, or Wimbledon White (pictured). The car also comes fully loaded - the only option for buyers to choose is the transmission. Should you opt for the six-speed automatic, you'll get a limited-slip rear differential with a 3.55:1 final-drive ratio (the 50th Anniversary car is also the only way to get a slushbox-equipped 'Stang with the Performance Pack). Selecting the six-speed manual 'box will net you a Torsen differential with a 3.73:1 ratio. All 50th Anniversary cars will be powered by Ford's 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8, estimated to produce more than 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque in the 2015 Mustang.
Inside, there's a cashmere-stitched, leather-wrapped steering wheel, with a similar detail found on the instrument panel, shift boot, door inserts, seats, and center armrest. Two-tone leather/black upholstery is also part of the 50th Anniversary package, and of course, there's a special logo on the seats.

At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest
Tue, 01 Apr 2014New truck! Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show has been searching for the perfect new truck for a few weeks now, soliciting help from all corners in the process. Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.
