I am listing for sale a true barn find. this car has been stored inside a shed for nearly 29 years. It is a very solid 1969 ford galaxie xl with hideaway headlights . It has a running 429 thunderjet engine with 365 horsepower( i did check the engine #) It has a floor shfter with console. This car has very little rust ,there is a couple of places in the drivers floor patched with car tags, but otherwise solid everywhere. The quarters are solid but do have dents . the trunk is perfect. the top mechanics are all there but cloth will need replaced. This car is missing the two front bucket seats and the top to the rear seat. the bumper is with the car and laying in front floorboard. I have a clear tn title in my name. this car is also listed locally and auction could end early if the right offer is made if this car doesnt sell i will possibly part it out if you need any parts please e-mail me with requests

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible makes inappropriate appearance in Detroit [w/video]

With the polar vortex fresh in the minds of Autoblog's Detroit-based staff, we're finding it funny that any manufacturer would choose January in the Motor City to show off a new and highly anticipated convertible to the general media and public for the first time. But Ford has done just that, giving us our first real peek at the new Mustang Convertible in the flesh.
The new Mustang Convertible is more or less unchanged from the standard coupe, with some subtle styling tweaks to accommodate the retractable soft top. Engine and transmission choices are identical to the hardtop, although we should expect slightly lower performance due to the hardware for the roof. Like the coupe, neither prices nor performance metrics have been published yet for the convertible.

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time.
