1967 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback runs GREAT. This is an Arizona car that sat for 20 years and was just brought back to life, all numbers match and clear title. No rust. She was repainted in January 2014 to the original color. Went through the entire car; fuel system, cooling system, electrical, brakes, power steering system, etc. Replaced or Re-built all parts. Ex: New fuel tank, replaced fuel lines, new fuel pump, re-built carb., all new gaskets and seals, new radiator, new battery, Original glass with no cracks. Body is straight. All original trim and chrome is in good condition. 4-matching Ford Motor Company hubcaps. Spare tire in trunk. Replaced carpet in trunk. Interior is in good condition. Mon, 01 Jul 2013Comedian Jay Leno is changing gears from driving fast cars to checking out some of the police cruisers that regularly chase down and dish out punishment to those fast cars. In this episode of Jay Leno's Garage, we get the lowdown on the modifications made to the Ford Explorer for the Interceptor package (which looks pretty tough in its California Highway Patrol livery).
The new Ford is cool, but cooler still are the pack of classic CHP cars that Jay has along for the episode. Wrap up some fun with Ford's commercial vehicle configurator
Tue, 27 Aug 2013Ford has combined multiple steps into one with its commercial vehicle configurator, which allows users to choose, design and place orders for the Transit, Transit Connect, E-Series vans and F-Series Super Duty trucks.
The most interesting part of the new configurator is a fairly robust design tool. Users are able to choose paint color and wrap the vehicle, and then create their own graphics. No materials are needed - Ford provides numerous background textures, text boxes, plenty of shapes and 20 categories of images including floral, construction, plumbing and skylines. Self-created designs or images can be uploaded to the system as well.

Toyota Camry, Honda Civic inventories mounting as US automakers make inroads
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Two of the hottest-selling cars in America aren't quite as hot as they used to be. The Toyota Camry and Honda Civic are both seeing dealer supplies increase in the face of renewed competition from the much-improved Detroit Three.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the Camry's dealer inventory is 15 days higher than its seasonal average, while the Civic is 25 days above average. Things aren't expected to get better for Toyota and Honda, as RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak marked the two Japanese offerings as "at risk for reduced output."
The Detroit Three, meanwhile, are seeing supplies dwindle as demand increases, especially for the Ford Fusion, which has seen an 18-percent increase in 2013 sales, and the Chevrolet Cruze, which was second only to the Camry in June 2013 sales.
