Up for Auction is my 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Four Door Sedan 289. If you are looking for the real deal then look no further this is a true 289 all matching numbers, these 289 cars are getting harder to find. This car is very original and in very very good condition. It has minimal rust, all there they maybe a few little spot of surface rust from stone chips extra but this vehicle has never seen a welder and will never need to see a welder, If anybody would like the Vin number to check this vehicle out please give me a call on the cell number attached, This Vehicle was bought by my uncle in South Carolina and has the original 289. The vehicle has spent all of its life there. About 20 years ago after my uncle's death I inherited it and moved it to Alabama. This is not a show car but it is a excellent solid example of what a classic car should be. It used to be car shows in and around Alexander City, Alabama. The hood was stripped down and the terminator design was painted on it. It is still in excellent condition. The car drove very nice and changes gear perfectly. The engine does not use oil or water and there are no unusual noises. It has been parked and the wheels removes for about two years now. It is very Important that you are bidding to buy this vehicle and not to view it. There are no misleading statements. I ask everybody who is bidding on this vehicle that you view the vehicle pictures so you can make your own decisions on what it is worth. I am not a classic car expert but I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. If anybody has any questions please do not hesitate to email me thru EBay's messaging system. There is a clean title in Hand and this vehicle is for sale only no trades or deals, As stated about this is not a show car so please don’t expect it to be show room condition, but is a very solid straight example and would not take a lot to be a show winning car. The pictures show things that I think are wrong with the car. Please study them carefully. Shipping and pickup are the buyer's responsibility. Tires are not available, However can be provided to assist in loading of vehicle on trailer.

Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.
UPDATE: Substituted clearer image - thanks, Sean!
Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.
